We went to Augusta Wisconsin and picked our new 1984 Venture do these cycles grow on people once they get one they have to get 2 or three. I wasnt sure just what to expect to see when I got there have been on my share of misinformed quests before but was very pleased when we got there, and what we found there is a treasure trove of parts for the first Generation Ventures I would say anything there would be for the 84s there are boxs of parts. I will be getting a complete list and pics of the parts. I told her I had joined this club and there is alot of good people. She lost her husband in June and is selling off all of the parts he had gotten over the years she is a very nice lady and it would be nice that she is treated the same. I will have some pics in a couple of days of the Venture and some more information as what all parts are there and prices. Have a great day Orlin

I would be interested in doing something like this at my place. I have a 260ft by 74ft building that I have for the most part empty from May untill October. I do have some tools here and could get loan of some more for a weekend. We have a camping area that we have for Family and Friends if some would like to camp. Or just a summer get together and a ride around the area there are some great roads in the area. Orlin

Hello I am in need of a set for my new project. I picked up 2 Ventures for parts one had been dumped and busted one side of the faring up not bad but more than a easy fix. I have been looking at it and thought it would be a waste to part it out if it ran so I put in some fresh gas oil and plugs and it started alittle more tunning and it runs great. So I took the faring off the other put on this one and took a test ride. Glad I gave it a chance to be on the road again but it is way to loud the guy I got it from did a real hack job on the mufflers. If I can find a pair of stock mufflers or some aftermarket ones that would finish it up except for its new coat of paint this winter. Thanks for any info. Orlin

All I can say is go out and ride diffrent bikes and get what you like. I myself like to tinker so I like something that is still fun to work on. Orlin

Hello I have been reading some of the posts on here and have also gotten alot of great info,I would like to say thanks to all. I ride a 1984 Venture and love it. I will get a pic of it on here soon. Also if any of you are in the Viroqua Wisconsin area feel free to look me up. I also have a small campground its rustic we do have out door toilets so if you need a place to camp and you are in the area there is no charge here. Just good company. Orlin Engh
