  1. Tried that an was given a flat "No". They would not sell me a manual.
  2. Mike, I bought a kit for my wife's (ex-wife) 84 Venture and it's been sitting for a few years. Have a new interest now and want to do the trike but have lost the manual. Any chance of getting a copy of yours?
  3. What rear end can be used in an inverted position (to reverse rotation) ? Should be close to 3.09 ratio. Are there any rear ends that allow flipping just the ring and pinion? (I did it once on a VW that I put a Corvair engine in.)
  4. Carl, Any word on those T/W fiberglass covers?
  5. I've been riding for over 50 years now, both on two wheels and on three and my one rule is always the same: "EVERYTHING on the road (or in the road) is your ENEMY .... STAY AWAY FROM IT!!!" PS: My leathers have NEVER felt the pavement or gravel. I know, you'll say I'm lucky and it's true but I'm also careful. We all have too much fun out there to spoil it by having an accident. "Nuff said !
  6. I see some spoilers have a red lens while others have a clear lens. Which is which? I prefer the clear to match the rest of the lights on my trike and trailer.
  7. Bought the kit, installed it with some custom touches and simply love it. Bought another kit for wifes bike too (1st Gen).
  8. We have floorboards on my wife's 84 1200 trike and were wondering if they could be fitted to a 93 1300 that we are thinking of buying as a replacement which will also be triked. We are looking at several 93s but only one has floorboards.
  9. DMC Sidecars has a "NEW" triple clamp to make steering easier and reduce wobble. I like the fact that it is a new part rather than a reworked stok item, but thats just me. A bit pricey though at $1000 but then, all the solutions I've been finding are in that range also.
  10. YUP! Did all mine-own-self. Actually, it wasn't difficult at all, but you havee to slow down every once in a while and THINK.
  11. Have just installed a Triwing trike kit and would like to find a "Leading Legs" kit. After just getting the bike back together, I don't really want to pull the front end apart to have the trees modified. Any ideas?
  12. With the spacers in place, the diff is perpendicular to the centerline of the bike, but is 1-1/8" wider on one side than the other. Wheel spacer will reduce that to 7/8". Could go with a thicker spacer, but that would require changing the whee studs on that side and I don't feel like pulling the diff apart if I don't have to.
  13. Drive shaft is centered in swingarm tube. Spacers are in ... 2 in my case (they sent three) Jim at Tri Wing has been very helpful, but I was still wondering about an adjustment. Didn't really think there was one, but inquiring minds need to know these things. To correct some of the offset, will be inserting a wheel spaceer on one side (1/4") as per Jim's suggestion. My main concern at the moment is lining up the body so it doesn't look off kilter going down the road. BTW: Thanks for all the input!!!
