  1. Sorry to hear how your new year started out but certainly glad you came out of it in one piece. At the end of the day the bike is just a bike and can be replaced or repaired but a person is irreplaceable.
  2. I too went to a LED head light bulb for a bit but went back to PIAA halogen bulb. My issue was I found that A) although the LED was brighter they did not project as far. B) what they did light up seemed to lack contrast so I found making out road details was somewhat difficult at times. Now having said that I should point out I tried 2 different LED conversion bulbs and was not happy with either. I do think if you are going to run LED it should be a complete engineered LED light assembly were bulb, reflector and lens are all designed to work together as a unit. The Volvo trucks I work on all now have LED light assembly's and they work very well. I also have a set of PIAA LED fog lights that work fantastic and only require a 2 amp fuse but there again this are complete LED designed assembles. HID I have never tried because I have found with units installed on customers trucks, they require optimal battery voltage to initially fire up and often they will come on when the key is initially turned on but die when you crank the engine and then fail to re-light. Now that's not to say that this happens to every brand out there but I could not justify spending the money to find out and so I have been quite content to stick to my PIAA bulb.
  3. As Carl said, It was a pleasure to come down to see you and Becky and wish you both A happy New year in person.
  4. Actually LPG is used at low pressure VIA a pressure regulator but the pressure in the average tank is 145 psi @ 70deg. F and can get as high as 180 PSI at 90deg F. Tanks are tested every 12 years at somewhere between 300 and 350 PSI Also you can try your local welding gases supplier for a replacement valve.
  5. :group cheers::group cheers::group cheers: HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE :group cheers::group cheers::group cheers:

  13. Amen to that Brother . I have to say though as much as I enjoyed his company both on the forum and in person he did have a slight flaw in his thought process......For some unknown reason he wrongly believed right to the end that BLUE was the fastest color. From whatever corner you put yourself into this time Yammer, Merry Christmas.
  14. Happy Birthday Bob and may you have many more.
  15. Not to start a political issue here but there seems to be that every year there is a faction regardless of race creed or colour that is insinuating that the phrase Merry Christmas should be replaced with phrases such as Happy Holiday. Happy HoHo, Merry X-mas, Etc.. Here is my thought and feeling on the subject. I feel That to say anything Other than Merry Christmas takes away from and waters down the whole Christmas spirit and season into just another plain cold meaningless Holiday. Regardless whether you are religious or not, or whether you have different religious beliefs, I feel that Christmas not only portrays the celebration of The birth of Christ in the eyes and minds of those of us who believe in Christ but also sends the message of Peace on Earth and Good will to all, To say anything other than Merry Christmas just waters down that message. If it is wrong to belittle the beliefs of other cultures and beliefs then why is it Ok to belittle Christmas which was born of Christian beliefs. So try to remember, Regardless whether you are religious or not, or whether you have different religious beliefs. Christmas also sends a second strong message that Spans all beliefs and should be heeded by all and that is ... >>>>>>>> Peace on Earth and Goodwill To All.

  18. That explains why the engines don't last in cars ......they were only designed for one way missions.....On another thought maybe they never really had suicide bombers...... it was really just engine failure.
  19. Only 2 more weeks to the Burlington annual M&E. Looking forward to more Names on The RSVP list. so I can start making reservations.
  20. Little Drummer Boy is one of my favorites as well I consider it one of the traditional Songs and to think some snot nosed millennial, commented that the song as well as I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus were inappropriate and should be banned from the radio. When did those who spent less time on the planet than many of us suddenly get the right to dictate what should and should not be. BTW Merry Christmas everyone.
  21. I guess you could say that it signifies that Yamaha is a well tuned Machine.
  22. Hey Chaharly I found one. Now just to get it to you. I will check with the post office to see what it will cost to send it to you. Hopefully not more than what it is worth. PM me your address and I will get things rolling. Unless you already found one that is.
  23. Just remember when you retire the rule of common sense is, not to do too much of nothing all at once. You need to work up to doing nothing, slowwwwly, or you could over exert yourself and become prematurely fatigued. So just do a little of nothing each day, and slowwly build up. Eventually you will be able to do a whole days worth of nothing without any serious side effects. So good luck and I hope for your sake you heed my advice. One last thing If you you find you have overdone it and did too much of nothing, it is OK to take a break have a NAP then return to doing a bit more of nothing after you feel refreshed, After all you have all day and there is no deadline to meet once you retire.
