    Take it to another dealer if there is one close to you. Your dealer should have some pull but if they dont then go to one that does

    When I was having issues with my radio the first time the tech told me it might need speakers and they were cover under the warranty

    Are the GPS's that different ones have recommended on here waterproff like the ones made for the motorcycle??????????????? I would like to find one like that. When i travel if it looks like rain I put a baggie over my GPS but it is hard to read when it gets wet

    Thanks Don. I thought that was what it was. I got my hands on a brand new control box. plugged it in. I got the same thing; headset but no speaker sound. I thought that was what the dealer said it was. I called back and talk to the tech. He said that it was the part under the fairing. Once again thanks for the offer.

    What Generation 1st or 2nd. Is it the part that latches back by where the key goes. If so I have fixed both of mine. J B Weld works great. You can pick that stuff up at Wally World, Auto Zone or any auto parts place. I put J B Weld on both side let it set for 24 hours been working great for 2 years now

    Took the bike to dealer today. The part on the inside of the fairing where al the connection are is bad. I ask how much to replace it. $1400 and some change. The good news is they only charged me $15 to do the test to find out what was wrong.. I guess I will get on ebay and see if I can find ome. Thanks for all the info thagt was brought my way

    I have taken every connector loose sprayed them with contact cleaner. Then put the dielectric grease on them. Put it all back together and still nothing through the speakers. The guy at the dealer told me that the control is possiablly stuck. It will have to be taken apart and somewthing done to it. I am still working on it. Thanks for all the info

    This guy will stand behind his warrenty. He made me a seat. it was way to hard. He redone the seat just as promised. Little slow but honest

    I just talked to another dealer about this problem with the radio. He said sound like control on the handle bars is stuck even though it is showing it is changing from speaker to headset. I am taking it in to them in the morning and they will check it out and if it external it will only cost me a max of $50 to fix. He said might be less depending on what is wrong. If it is internal then the radio had to be sent off to be fixed.

    I just went to Wally World and they did not have KIT. I went to Auto Zone found it there. Tried it. I can believe the difference it made on my windscreen. I just told my wife on the way back from Daytona I was going to have to buy a new one. I am going to try it on my face shield on my helmet now. Thanks for putting this on here.

    Ok all the wires were connected nio corrosion I could see. Still not working. Could it be the amp. Just working on headset and not on speaker?????? I just sprayed with contact cleaner still no sound out of speakers.

    I quit riding for about 20 years. Then after the kids left the house I started riding again. I took a Rider Safety Coarse. I did most stuff right but I was also doing stuff wrong. I recommend everyone go take the coarse. You will be surprised the little thing that you are doing wrong.

    Check the air preasure in your tires. My 2006 Venture will do that if the tire does not have enough air pressure. Also check to see if you have wore places in that front tire. That will cause your handle bars to shake.

    Where can I get that dielectic grease. I had never hear of that kind of grease until I got on here and read the post different ones have put on here. I will check out the mess of wires coming out of the radio. If that does not take care of the problem then I will trace the speaker wires to see if they come off. Thanks guys for all the info.     Where can I get that grease. I had never heard of that kind of grease until I got on here reading the post different ones have put on here. I will trace all the speaker wires if the connections to the wires coming out of the radio and not the problem. I sure do appreciate all the suggestions. Thanks a bunch guys

    OK Thanks I will try that next. I was hoping I did not have to remove the fairing but I guess that will be the next step. They put a new control on while still under warrenty so I figure that may be where the problem lies. Thanks

    I have sound through head set with radio and cb. I am assuming the IC has sound. Cant find the cord to see
