    Linkage seems good! I did find that when the Motor is off and I shift into gear from neutral, while the clutch is ingauged, I have resistance rolling the bike for a foot or so, then it rolls smooth with no resistance!! Could I have the clutch plates sticking??? Steve

    Hi everyone, My 2001 RSV is shifting from neutral to 2nd gear most of the time! When I see that it is in 2nd gear, I down shift one time and it will shift to neutral instead of 1st gear most of the time! I have to go back and forth once or twice to get to first gear out of neutral. Has anyone had this issue? What was the fix? Thanks, Steve

    Thanks everyone!! It is mine now!!! I just drove it home (50 Miles) and every thing seems great!! The bike was just serviced in late December, Carbs rebuilt, fuel filter replaced, Fuel tank cleaned out, Plugs replaced, oil and filter replaced. And there is 5 months remaining on an extended warranty! And I did not pay $5000!! (I hope this does not sound like I am bragging!!) I am sure I will wake up in the middle of the night and say,, what the Hell! Thanks again,, Will upload photos soon! P.S. I have a 1984 VR for sale now! Steve

    I did not try soaping the forks or the shock. How do you get to the rear shock with removing the wheel? The controller looked BRAND NEW!! But I still touched up all the the connections. Testing last night,, The front lost half in 3 hours, and the rear had two lbs left! Where on the forks and shock have you seen leaks? Steve

    Hi Everyone, I have a 1984 Venture Royale that has had a slow leak in the system for several years! I loose 50% in 30 to 45 min. (front and back shocks). I have soaped all the lines,, and I do not see any signs of a leak!! Has anyone had this same problem?? Thanks, Steve
