  1. Same here. My main concern is some smart a%% dropping a dookie in one of the helmets while I am in a store. But if they cut the strap the helmet is useless.
  2. Looked at this at the Novi show. Bland fairing. Not impressed.
  3. :rotf::rotf:
  4. I don't have a first gen, but that is a pretty nice looking patch.
  5. Great to hear! Heal quickly! I prefer to think of us here not as VR members but as VR FAMILY. We may squabble amongst us and dad (Freebird) needs to step in, but when it comes down to a family member needing help, we are here for one another. That alone makes this site invaluable.
  6. Just finance it!!!
  7. That's because it is not against the law to be stupid.
  8. That's because it was dragged 93 feet.....there is nothing left!
  9. Novi Michigan ahow was pretty good.
  10. No primer, no making. Plus he is blowing into the gun, what a hack.
  11. Wow, my paint rates just went up! I see I am not charging nearly enough.
  12. I am waiting until they scrap that operating system. It was designed for tablets. Alot of IT personel have tested it, nobody likes it. Plus they took the "windows" out of windows. Only one window brouser open at a time. I will keep my Vista Ultimate, which I personally like and never had an issue with but would like a new machine with more power to run Cimatron for my design work.
  13. I have the same tach. When it rains, cover it!!! It IS NOT waterproof. Cover it at night at motels and such if you do not use a bike cover. Moisture WILL get in and when it does, the needle will rotate completely out when you turn on the ignition. Once it dries out, it will be fine. I am going to try and waterproof mine this spring. I made a nice aluminum housing for mine at work, moisture still gets in from around the bezel and the button to change light color. Trust me, cover it!
  14. I got cold just looking at those pics! Gotta go turn up the thermostat now.
  15. I would think if you were to weld some thick angle iron underneath along the sides it would help keep it from buckling.
  16. All this with a 2x10??? I would think a 900 pound bike would bow this like crazy. I could be wrong. You guys need to listen to Brian, I may not agree with him all the time, but I do respect his experiance. Plus the only one that looked even close to being safe was midnightventures pics. Hopefully I never need to trailer my bike anywhere. If I do, I will be renting a lowboy trailer DESIGNED to load and carry motorcycles.
  17. Can't go that big. Limited to 200 sq foot. Association rule. Keeps poeple from building something too big for the neighborhood. Plus I have to make it match the house, which is easily done. I just need to get around to it.
  18. I would'nt mind riding out for the rally, but my wife is not that interested. She has no problem with me going, so maybe a solo ride in later this year. Anyone from Michigan going?
  19. Hmmmmmmmm, I may have to reconsider. I like the outrigger idea. I must ponder this for awhile, plus make room in the garage. I am pretty much out of room. Mary keeps telling me to build a shed for the lawn equiptment. Hmmmmm, that would give me room for a lift AND a project bike!! Oh the gear are a spinning in my head............
  20. Did I hear somebody say Bloody Mary's????? I am there!
  21. Nope not road rage. Not at all. Actually, it's directed at morons, be they on a motorcycle or be they in a cage. Premeditated............you bet your bippy!
  22. You got that right. BUT......being they are better than everyone else......we will be stuck in traffic while they ride like a moron and slide up between cars.
  23. Your more than welcome Dan!
  24. Not sure. Did you actual do a search or did you scroll through the threads looking for it? I doubt Don would have deleted it.
  25. Lucky duck! I am 48 yrs old. Retirement is a loooooong ways away for me!
