  1. Was in the same boat that you are a few years back. They first started me out on 50,000 units a week for 6 weeks, tested, then put me on 100,000 units a week. I've tested every 3 months for the past few years and the last test finally got me on the high end of normal (take that as you want.....) so now we are building that up and then try to figure out a maintenance level. It takes some time but it does make a difference. Not near as tired & just all around feel better. I know there are a lot of different opinions out there, but it made a difference for me. Venture riding is always a feel better cure!! Hope things work out for you and my only advice is to stick with it.
  2. Actually I believe they are line #9 & part #90338-11152-00 from the service manual on page 31 in the crankcase area. They are just a rubber plug. I had to replace these on my 96 Royal Star because they were leaking. They just pull out & quick push the new ones in. The covers have a spot on them that just holds pressure against them when they are bolted on. Hope this helps......
  3. Another thing to check is to make sure you are getting adequate fuel flow into that carburator. I had the same thing happen where I didn't have two cylinders firing after sitting for the winter & found even after the seafoam treatment and changing the plugs that the float was stuck so there was no fuel. I opened up the drains & tapped on the bowls to free it up & cycled the fuel pump a few times & was good to go. By the way, thanks to all the others on here for the great information to get me running again. I read through many threads to get my bike finally running.
  4. I can't give you any info on the backrest you have a link to other than I looked at that also but decided to go with the DiamondR. The DiamondR does come with the Pillow Top to match the seats. All you have to do is pick the "Overstuffed" when you order & it matches very well. Plus you get the extra pouch on the back of it so the rider can put a few things in there. Hope this helps.....
  5. 2007 was the year the Blue with Black were available. I don't know how to put a picture in this post, but I have some pictures of mine in an album on my profile if you would like to look there. Good luck with your project!!
  6. I have a 96 royal star & it is located under the tank. You have to remove the tank & that will expose the air box.
  7. I will take 2. I will send payment through now. Thanks,
  8. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated!! I'll have one on order soon.
  9. I am wondering if anyone would know where or if you can get a single or multi pouch windshield bag for the 2nd gen RSV's? I saw one in a picture on Diamond R's website in the photo gallery, but am unable to locate one on the web. Any ideas???
  10. I just purchased a new 07 RSV on Saturday & that was one of my concerns. I was very happy though when I hit the road and all was well. Still plenty of power without the "turbo"!!
