  1. OK you do not have to remove the gas tank to remove the carbs, they fit thru the side once you get them broken loose. While you have them out, also service the intake throats as they can develop holes, and the rubber o ring gaskets underneath can deteriorate. You will also find a lot of buildup on the mating surfaces. Now if you are removing the tank, you will want to remove the rear tire and the rear subframe to get to it better...
  2. I use their fork oil and waterproof grease, but never tried their oil. Thanks for the input on the difference it made with yours, I may try it some time. I normally use diesel oil 15W45...

  4. Hi Lenny! You have stumbled on one of the very few downsides of the RSV, they are top heavy and low speed maneuvering is a bit of a bear! As mentioned leveling links help out the situation somewhat, there are am few other tricks out there as well, but I trike'd my RSV a couple of years ago so I forgot them. Welcome aboard!

  11. No, the mute button is where the volume control and tone control is... EDIT The red button is for setting the push buttons.

  14. Are you disconnecting the coils from the wiring harness? Is the battery in your meter fresh? I seem to remember something about the test procedure using an old analog meter movement as opposed to a digital movement. Try a different meter as well...
