  6. When you bake it remove the cover, 4 phillips screws. This helps the moisture escape. Some of us bake at 225 degrees as water boils at 212...
  7. Not 100% sure but to your door usually refers to your location and yes they will bring it into your room. Tipping is optional but when stairs are involved it is a good gesture. Sometimes company regulations do not allow them to accept tips but it never hurts to offer anyway...

  10. well that's debatable. First define good. Any set of forks you pick up I would rebuild anyway and install progressive springs. New seals is a given. Now what I would do is replace your forks with MK2 ones so you can get some decent brakes on your scoot instead of those less than adequate MK1 ones...

There is a product you add to the paint to prevent orange peel, he was too darn cheap to add it,, and probably didn't want to take the time to service his moisture trap, or didn't spend the money to install one! I would nicely inform him you are dissatisfied with his service, and if he does not make it right, he should expect a visit from the local BBB...
  17. Ooh! Ooh! Check voltage from ground on both sides of headlight fuse holder!! You may have a bad fuse holder!!!
  18. Yup!!! HIGHLY interested here as I may very well trike my 1st gen and want IRS.I was considering older metric RWD cars for rear end like Triumph TR7, Datsun 280Z, etc...
  19. Another possibility is the contacts on the start switch! There is a set of contacts that turn off the headlight when you start the engine...
  20. It's a black box on the front fairing frame behind the relays. It has a multi pin connector coming out off it's side with wires. It's purpose is to detect if the headlight goes out, and automatically switch to the high beam and send a signal to the dash and light the white light on the dash. They are somewhat expensive. If you can borrow one plug it in to see if it fixes your problem. If you go to the Tech manual forum download member Dingy's schematics to see wiring details...
  21. Your reserve lighting unit may have bit the big one...
  22. My wife once said "Why don't you buy a new one?" when I had wiring trouble. We had a new 2nd gen 2 days later in our possession. Took me all of 2 seconds to say OK..
