  1. I bought one from a local dealer during a flash sale in August (probably a S&W promotion). I paid $339.95 They are $459.95 now on a good day. I really like it but I have a Bersa Pro 9 that I like better.
  2. Good for you Dave. I have a pair of boots for you to mount on the trunk lid, will put lots of class on the ride.
  3. I have had a Forney 220 amp buzz box welder for forty years. Does what I need. Never used wire feed.
  4. Ya'll keep it to yourselves. Don't need none of that yankee crap.
  5. All good advice, and you need a set of gaunlet style electric gloves (easily installed to batterry with an in-line fuse). I like the Tourmasterbrand jacket and pants which come with liners (not cheap).
  6. Put your machine up for the winter with pure gas (no ethanol) and Seafoam (Stabil if you like). Have a :sun1:y day.
  7. 6436 so I guess I am not a low number or early member. Hey, that is fine I still enjoy the organization and members. There is only one issue after all these years, where are my boots??? You know who you are.
  8. Now since you are a transplant, there are things you need to know. The most important is that SC hot dogs have peanut butter on them. All the other changes don't matter.
  9. No idea and to me it makes no sifference, but I joined 1/06/09.
  10. Hibernation??? I just mowed 4.5 acres. Had 3.5 inches of rain in the last week and I couldn't see my St. Bernards in the grass.
  11. $6.89 down in the south, of course that is USD. I am not going to defend Kreem but I used it on a BSA and Norton Commando with great success.
  12. Ronnie has the right idea but I would go further and "Kream" the tank for a permanent fix. Worked great for years on bikes that sat around too long. At Amazon and Walmart.
  13. I am looking forward to it my brother.
  14. I always stay in a state of mass confusion unless I am at the range and then all comes into clarity.
  15. How far can these antennas reach? I live maybe thirty miles (as the crow flies) from Charlotte and would like to cut the apron strings. I have a UHF antenna (on a twenty ft. galvanized fence rail) above my wood working shop to get radio signals and it does great, and the shop is around twenty feet lower than the house.
  16. Very happy for you, Jeff. I think you should crank up the WWW for a break in trial. Wouldn't even mind if it came all the way to NC. Been tolerable here but too warm for this time of the year. Should be 15-20 degrees cooler in the day. I really hope you like your new positions.
  17. Usually because somebody was bored and was searching old post.

Just dialed in and I feel your medical issues without even knowing them. I can't give advice since I usually don't do what they tell me, but I am starting to listen to the docs.
  20. If you can find a set of RSTD bars, they will be wider and taller. I have them on my RSMV and love them. You can adjust them up or use a riser.
  21. In Leo3wheel's post it looks like they added a Victory headlamp. Good for them since the engine was designed for a Victory originally.
  22. And you are about 90 miles west of me, neighbor. When you get settled I may come borrow a cup of sugar.
  23. Very nice area for riding and living. You all did good.
