  1. You, your dad and your family are still on my prayer list.
  2. I believe we can all agree that this is a very sad day. I didn't know Bob but through posts you can feel the person making them. I have never met Cowpuc but we are close friends regardless. Hopefully I will meet him in person in September. My prayer list continues for Bob and his eternal reward and for Becky and the family to come to peace with the loss. I pray this in Jesus's name, Amen.
  3. I always liked that bike, especially with the four in four pipes. Remember thay are not as fast as the earlier or later 1300 engines. Something about the carbs I think.
  4. :95::95::95: my prayers have never stopped for Bobby.
  5. My , try Krud Cutter. I get it at Home Depot but available elsewhere. It has amazed me.
  6. Really sorry to read this but you are doing the right thing by waiting for more diagnosis. I started about a year ago with dizziness (not Cowpuc's fault), wound up with it being sinus infection. Seems my normal allergies became much more sensitive. Getting shots every week now. Good luck Don, I will be praying for you.
  7. I had a used Dodge Ram pickup that had a badly sludged engine. I put the Seafoam in it by directed dosage after an oil change and ran it 3000 miles. Cleaned that engine up. Used it for many more miles.
  8. It is listed as a compact/medium frame. I have a Bersa Pro 9mm HC that is listed as a compact but it is a full size pistol with a 4.25" barrel. With 17 round mags it is a great shooter. Who knows what there advertising departments come up with.
  9. I will be waiting for those videos, brother. Jim aka Slyvester
  10. Good video Randy, would love to try one.
  11. David, that is awesomely beautiful. Curious about the caliber? But an wonderful piece of American history.
  12. It fits my large hands fine. It is a four inch with nearly full grip. Fits better than the Glock 19. Has the S&W fifteen round mags X2. I tried one on in the past. No safety but who needs one for a double action only pistol. Non of my revolvers have one.
  13. Wish I still had XP, Jeff. Company sent out new laptops and required the old turned in. Said it was due to software updates. So now, retired I have two Windows 10s. They were upgraded from 7s. Company said keep them for yourself but don't sell them (I guess due to programs) but all that has been wiped.
  14. This all amazes me, since the only machining I have ever done was in college working second shift for company making vane pumps. I started on a Colonial Broach, then to a zip and finally a surface grinder. Hated working in manufacturing but it gave me money to continue my education. I am proud of your accomplishments Fool.
  15. Just bought my first S&W auto loading pistol, MP 9 compact 9mm. Couldn't pass the deal. No pictures yet but I will pick it up Monday. New in box at my favorite gun store (Hyatt's Gun). A one day flash sale online only. Didn't see it until it was over but called the owner and since I am such a good customer he OK'd it for me. Woohoo
  16. Was the Royal Star a 1st or 2nd gen? Seems to me, I have been wrong before, that it was a 2nd gen. Nice bike and I almost bought one in 98/99.
  17. Cowpuc has done well without the burden of hair, you should aspire to be like him Freebird.
  18. Your father, you and your family is on my prayer list. Take the previous advice and get rest for yourself. And thanks to Saddlebumb...prayers for the doctor and surgical team.
  19. And she is right. Ventures are top heavy throughout the Gen. 1 and 2. You need to feel the love so continue to get on it. And remember to keep the RPMs high, these bikes hate being lugged. I have an 02 Gen 2 and I never shift until I am over 3000 RPM. And when at low speed parking lot turning, higher RPMs and ride the "rear" brake. Never use the front at low speed or you will go down. Just my imput. There are a lot of better riders on this sight than me. So if they chime in, listen to them. I only started riding in 1959.
  20. Thanks Tom. Prayers continue.
  21. Bummer! Prayers still flowing.
  22. VR must be on the world wide spammers network to get that many, IMHO. Must keep you busy sorting through it all. Thanks for doing what you do, Don. It is obviously a labor of love.
  23. Thanks Carl, I have both of them on my prayer list. I had pneumonia in 2001 and it is hard to beat, but at advanced years it is extremely dangerous. It took my father in 1998.
  24. I have noticed a few in the past couple weeks. You do what you feel necessary, since you are the boss. :icon_lurker:
