  1. Very nice! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. I am looking for a new dual band 2m/440 rig for my '13 Camry. I am not sure where to mount the rig, but do you guys have any suggestions as to what kind of rig and type of mounting? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Congratulations Skid! You deserve it after working all these years. As far as your health, you shall overcome that. Just like my dad, he retired 9 years ago and he said it is one of his best decision in life. He battled prostrate cancer right after retirement and now is enjoying retirement life to the fullest. He goes back home to the Phillipines every year for 2 months. I get jealous time to time. Again, enjoy your golden years.
  4. I replaced my battery with the same Yuasa brand last summer. I've been very happy with it.
  5. I've had my Prius for about 8 years now, but I sure don't drive like an idiot. I maintain a good posted speed limit and obey all traffic laws. Perhaps this has something to do that there are more and more idiot drivers out there that are just too daring and reckless to begin with. Prius owners are being singled out here. At least I belong to the 40+ mpg club. 😎 BTW, do you happen to know the most dangerous city in the nation in terms of traffic accidents?
  6. Michelin Tires are good quality tires. I trust them on my cars and on motorcycles. 👍

    coolant

I agree on the 50/50 coolant mix. I've changed coolant twice already and it sure is good to have that replaced on a regular interval.
  8. Prayers sent. Congrats on your retirement.
  9. I'll try to tough it out. C'mon March!
  10. We expect to get another 4 to 8 inches of snow today. This means I won't be able to ride for another couple of days until we get a melt down and forecasted rain on Wednesday. Another 6 weeks of winter they said.
  11. I wouldn't want to have those type of cracks on any of my tires be it on a motorcycle or cager. Have it replaced right away, if you have not done it yet. Above all, it is a PITA to keep on removing the rear every time this happens. Hope you get that issue straightened out.
  12. I've been folding my chaps the wrong way. Thanks for the post. I'll for sure learn how to fold it that way on the video.
  13. Prayers sent. 🙏
  14. Condolences to you and your family.
  15. Believe and it shall happen. My prayers sent. 🙏
  16. Today will be 50° to 60° warmer. A simple wipe down and check tire pressure should bring me back on 2 wheels. 👍
  17. I read in the news about a water main break in Baltimore. A car is parked next to the water main break 2 days ago. To make the long story short, water sprayed on top of the car and there was at least... At least 5 inches of ice around the car. OMG! ❄️👀
  18. CNN says it is even too cold for polar bears. 😛 A co-worker said she couldn't open her car doors this morning. It was frozen shut. Even with Gerbings around your entire body, the windchill is still unbearable. No way I'll ride in this temperature. Be careful out there, if you plan to be outside.
  19. Sounds like a great place to be. Wish I can I easily go, but too far. Enjoy! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. I got a couple of ride sessions a few days ago, but snow is coming our way. Looking at the extended forecast, I may not get any ride in until next weekend. 😩 We may get between 3 to 5 inches of snow which is enough to make everything messy on the roads. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. My Condolences.
  22. Trully a sad story.

    COLD

I really thought I'll be able to ride today, but we had some snow early am. 😆 Now waiting for everything to melt and dry up. My Gerbings is waiting. ❄️😸
  24. Congrats on your newly acquired rear light. I also got mine 4 years ago and went for LEDs on them. Keep it shiny. 😇
  25. That is true. 😄 It also would look awkward to have antenna somewhere in front of you. I remember another fellow ham here and he posted pics and talked about everything about his 2m project install on his venture awhile back. I think he installed a yaesu 2m waterproof rig right where the cassette used to be.
