  1. says it comes with 4 size main jets why? does this mean you have to keep removing the carbs and trying different jets? Same question for the needle shims 1/2 step adjustments this seems like a lot of of and off with the carbs. is there any way to see the directions before you buy?
  2. it looks like auto renewal? is this the only option?
  3. ….. this sounds easier than the book describes. pull the tank, seats, air induction box, carburetor's of course the head cowlings, cylinder head stays, coolant hose, drain coolant and all this at room temperature what is room temperature? does all this stuff have to come off?
  4. Yep still around riding my 06 RSV. Mostly riding my monthly STAR ride.
  5. should have mine back Thursday I let you know how the are.
  6. have you put your lowering kit on yet? did you not feel any difference between the 02 with the lowering kit and the 08 without it? I raised the rear a few years back to level things out and recently put the 130 front tire on. its working pretty good but I would still like more of my feet on the ground. I was thing about having the seat done but than I would be more cramped to the floor boards. Did you have trouble dragging the pipes going into parking lots?

Has anyone tested it out? What's you opinion?
  8. I am pretty happy with the stock seat as for comfort but I can see that a little deeper bucket and trimmer up front could put my feet little flatter on the ground. I have the pillow.
  9. So your not recommending the oil you have the link to are you recommending a blended oil just a little confused you talk about 3 different oils here
  10. I replaced a slipping original clutch with a Barnett fibers and steel disks its better but I still get slip when I am in taller gear and going a little slow and get on it hard it will slip like crazy but if I go through the gears and run the rpm,s like normal there is no slip any ideas
  11. think I found the problem pulled the tank to check the air box found that all 4 boots to the carbs were just sitting on top of the carbs reset every think will see next week got to go get oil and filter to finish maintenance
  12. I get a gas smell around my bike with no sign of a leek on the ground or around the carbs or engine
  13. I use the Purolator's on all my vehicles the one for my venture is the same as my CRV and Civic
