Mine does the same, never know for sure what is setting it off, most warm days it works good, cooler not so good, let me know what you find if anything because ti good be in the chip not just solder joint:080402gudl_prv:

The brackets appear to have been cracked for awhile, rust at the break point, no brake fluid leaks, checked it out pretty well when I got home.

99 Trunk Needs Major Repair

Mine is about that bad. Was going to get some scrap alum from work and bolt it to bottom, and seal it with silicone. Appears to have enough clearance on bottom to allow 1/8" thick piece to work. -

What is the most common reason that my forks bottom out so easily, 83 venture, holds air pressure, but sure hits bottom hard and often. Want to know before going back to selling dealer. Thanks Also just had front bumper break off, coming home from work. What a surprise to hear it hit the front wheel and fly out from underneath. Brackets are broke.
