  5. Here are a couple of pictures from the Distillery yesterday.
  6. Thanks are not enough for stopping here and staying with us. We have enjoyed this visit more than you know. Just sorry we couldn't have a meet for you to see more of our local members. Hope you enjoy your new guardian bells. Love you guys! Patti and Don

  8. Wish you all were here...we are having a great time with Annie and Alan. Checked out a new restaurant just over the state line in KY and it was FANTASTIC! (Whew!!) Heading out to Jack Daniel's tomorrow..a new adventure for all of us since Don and I have never been there either. going to be a great weekend!
  9. Sorry I missed this yesterday. Hope you had a great day. Sounds like it was, especially since Jeff cooked your dinner...Wow! Patti and Don
  10. Would make you appreciate what WE girls go thru..just saying..
  11. Glad to hear it went well and hope the healing continues to go well. Keep us posted on your progress! Don and Patti
  12. First and foremost...to Don and Eileen. I know a little about what it takes to host an event...but NOTHING this size. I don't even want to go there... But to everyone else who helped work on bikes (and other oddities..) a big thank you! Especially in the heat. And to Hummingbird for the Ice Cream! It was absolutely delicious! I have to say it was better than DQ!! I think another one to thank is eusa1 for DONATING a diamond cut set of jugs to the raffle. And the others who donated items also...Carbon One and Aussie Annie come to mind. Not sure who else donated gifts??? (Just a mention here...would be nice to have a little more "girl" gifts tho...just saying...) I have to thank all the ladies that showed up too! Every year I meet more and more of the girls...those wonderful ladies "behind" you guys here on the site. I didn't even get to talk to all of you. I missed Rose (wife of Dano). Sorry! But did enjoy meeting some very nice new ones...You girls are great for coming and spending the day here. The first year I came to this with Don, about the only ones I remember are Yama Mama and Mini, Lonna and Sleeperhawk's Mechanic. I am sure there were more, but they made me feel very welcome, along with Eileen of course. As for a 2nd meet at Freebird's maybe in the fall..you KNOW it would not be just a "visit"...SOMEONE would need a little something done to their bike and the next thing you know...it's another MD...in the FALL...LOLOLOL! You guys just can NOT get together without someone doing something to someone's bike. Don and I had a great time and can't wait for another one...whenever it will be. This is the best group I have ever met! Patti
  13. Thanks again for a great MD. Not sure I could handle two a year tho. Don (B2dad) almost broke the bank just for this one... AND...Just for the record, I didn't BEAT UP anybody!! As for my room key...mum's the word on who I gave them to...And if I said "don't tell B2dad"...I KNOW you guys would anyway. LOL The video here is awesome Ragtop, thank you. Sorry if you mistook me for Mike's beautiful wife...I am just the girlfriend (LOL). Actually, as it turns out, we have "adopted" Mike and Cherie's little girl, Theresa, as our newest granddaughter. Had a blast with her at the carnival last night. We love that our family is growing! Don and I enjoyed seeing everyone and apologize if we missed talking to some of you. Just not enough time to visit with everyone. Oh yeah...and the ice cream was AWESOME!! Thanks Hummingbird. Hope to see some of you at Snarley Bill's Eureka Springs meet in a couple weeks or at Vogel with Dragonrider (Lewis). Patti / Don
  14. We are at Buckshots and his wife here in Swanton and heading over there first thing in the morning. Had a great time tonite. Great food and a really nice fire. However, someone forgot the marshmallows, so we just sat there and talked. That was nice too! lol! See you all in Oberlin in the morning...unless someone lets me sleep in. ha!

    In Remembrance

    Thanks Don
  16. For Freebird please. Have new GPS and don't have address from last year...thanks!
  17. Happy Birthday Peggy, hope you have a great day! See you soon Patti and Don :Happy Birthday:
  18. Thanks for the hug, Eck. Missing you! Say hi to Konnie. Missed you guys at our meet this weekend. It turned out great...except you and Konnie weren't there. AND Don says thanks for the kick. He loves you too! LOL
  19. Had to work today...taking off Friday to get ready for our meet n eat and praying really hard the rain holds off...but what fun it must have been to just get on and go and go and go..two tanks of gas!! Lucky you!
  20. Been keeping my eye on the roads to the North too...only thing you should be running into is construction. Kentucky Dept of Transportation says from Cincinnati to Louisville (I-71) is open but roads are under construction. Watch for workers! You should be able to come down to Bowling Green and then to Martin, TN via West KY Parkway. I think you will be fine. Let me know if you need more exact directions. Patti
  21. Yes, the bridge is open, however, once you cross into Kentucky, you will be on Hwy 51 and there are two places that are still closed to traffic. Not sure if it will be open by Friday...not looking good yet. I hope to call Kentucky Dept of Trans tomorrow and see about the road. If it remains closed, you may have to go farther down I-55 and cross into Tennessee at Dyersburg...then you can catch Hwy 51 NORTH to Hwy 22 which will take you into Martin and the hotel.
  22. People are getting to go back in their homes. As soon as I know something, Bill, I will post it. You may want to cross around St. Louis and drive down I-57 to I-24 and come in to Paducah, KY and then down Hwy 45. Not much further than the other way and I know those bridges are open. but will get back to you on Cairo as soon as I hear something.
  23. Congrats Peg and Buddy. Being grandparents is so much fun. Speaking from experience (we have 7 grandchildren, 2 GREAT grandchildren)...they are totally fun to have. In fact, Grampa Don is currently playing Mario Kart on the Wii with 2 of the grandkids now. So get ready...it takes a nano second for them to wrap theirselves around your heart...and I think even less time to empty your wallet! LOL! But it's all worth it. Congrats again on a gorgeous baby. You guys are going to be great grandparents. Patti and Don :thumbsup2:
  24. That is great guys! I know you are so proud of him. Great looking little guy. Will be a VR member before you know it! Don and Patti
  25. We are planning on going to Eureka Springs so we can't do Meramec too. I just don't have enough leave time for all the trips I want to do. Wish we could go tho. We sure had alot of fun and some good riding in that area...although I think I had the best time sitting outside the rooms with everyone just shooting the bull. always have a good time with you and Linda. Looking forward to Eureka Springs...and you guys coming to our meet in a couple weeks. Patti
