Well seems to be the way things work. The news didn't really go into any details on what the effects could be. Just made me worried. If it took them 20yrs to get in touch with folks, how long will it take to tell them all? Kinda why I posted just in case. Margaret

This is for anyone who was stationed or lived at Camp Lejeune between 1957-1987. Evidently there was some sort of chemical in the drinking water during this time. The Marines are sending out letters, but just in case you haven't heard yet thought I'd pass this on. I saw the story on our local news so I looked for info. I know we have some retired Marines on here. Just thought I'd pass it along. https://clnr.hqi.usmc.mil/clsurvey/ Margaret

You'll be fine Bobbie. We'll have someone hold your hand, not sure how good George will be. Some guys have a hard time with needles even if it isn't them getting it. Margaret

:rotf::rotf::rotf: I'm glad I didn't post anything about that statement either, just get me in trouble. (Course I seem to be trouble a lot) Margaret

I don't think we have a quota on how many preachers we have. Might be good to have a few more. Might help us out a bit. Maybe we should expand too. Ya know hit up a few of the other religions, kinda cover all our bases. Margaret

Can't see any of that around here at night. I've only ever dozed off at night usually late. Anytime after 1 or 2 am. Margaret
-
We got ours too. Yep all fancy custom bikes. Margaret

I would never make fun of you Peggy. I've dozed off on the bike before too. Usually on trips that bring us home after 1am as well. I think I must be worse I've done it with the radio on. It's just these bikes are so comfortable who could help themselves. :rotf:Just hope the guys don't do it, that would be enough to keep the rider awake. Margaret

Well in NC it still depends on where you are on what you pay. In Elizabeth City (about 10 miles from our town) it's 2.28 here in our town it's 2.59. Not sure why the difference, but I do know it's still up around or over the $3 mark elsewhere. Margaret

We got it covered on Brad riding a bike. Jeff told him he can ride the SS bike while he's here. Jeff said if he don't ride it's his own fault, Jeff has one of the other bikes down with him as well. Margaret

Good luck to him on finding a job. Margaret

I think we should let George pick where your tat goes. Oh if we go to the texas roadhouse I'm not sitting too close to some folks. Last trip to one of these I got hit with peanuts and I had nothing to do with the throwing. Guilty parties know who they are. :rotf: Margaret

Dan go and ask the warden to help you save it. She fixed the computer last time, I'm sure she can help you download a file and save it. You can save it to the computer. Margaret

I'm so sorry to hear that Peggy. How is Cooper taking it? Dogs feel loss too. I know how you feel. It's just a big ache, but as you said she did what she liked. She protected you all and got love in return. I'm dreading the day my old girl goes. She's older then your Lucy, so I know it might not be long. Margaret

Wow that is sad. I hope it wasn't some nut as well. I'm guessing nobody was hurt, so at least that's an upside. Hope they can rebuild if they have the stamina for it. Margaret

I'll take plenty of pics. Bobbie's gonna be occupied, so I think I can pick up the slack. Margaret

First Welcome to the family. I'm guessing by the three wheel you mean a trike. If so we have a section here on trikes and sidecars here's the link: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=26 We have an annual ride at the end of year or beginning of the year, mostly depending on when new years falls. This coming one will be on Jan 3rd. Haven't got a place yet, still working on that part. Hope to see you then. Margaret
