It was a 1969 Yamaha twin 2-stroke that I bought new. I fried the engine twice while I had it. For some reason those bikes just weren't capable of hauling 2 adults down the freeway for any duration. I think I crashed it 3 times that year and didn't crash again until Feb 2005. Hopefully I can go another 30 years before I have another.
