I saw this on the web and was wondering if any of you all have tried this ? Would this be of real use on these engines, or a no/no ? Claims to give better fuel mileage and looks good/good reviews and so on. But I know nothing of a crank case filter on these engines. So any and all information appreciated here. Does anyone have experience with the Motocrentic Bluetooth helmet Dennis Kirk sells for $237? I can't find any reviews. It uses the Blinc 3 bluetooth.

Well, New Enough is hacking at me again. They have been offering up some things that I have been wanting to improve on for a while. Today I got the notice on the HJC Sy-Max II going on sale. I've needed to replace my full face helmet, a Vetter I bought when I bought my GL1100, (and no I don't wear it anymore), to something more modern. LOL! I have the HJC Trooper style half helmet that is my daily bucket. Fits great, stays cool and most comfortable helmet I've ever owned. But the colder weather is setting in a full face would be nice. But from what I'm reading the HJC Sy-Max II has some pretty good reviews and has been around for a bit. Now today, they listed one in my size, which is a bear to find and for a decent price. Anyone here own one of these and what are your thoughts on it? The sun visor is one of my main concerns. Nice feature, but seems to be the weak spot in the reviews. Thanks for any comments. Mike

I just got through reading the reviews in Motorcycle Cruiser magazine and wondered what some of the actual "Venture Riders" say about some of the criticisms in the article. This is not necessarily one of my favorite mags...I feel they always give the Harleys and Hondas a "bye" on their models, but it seems they are particularly harsh on the Venture this time. I am still interested in getting the Venture, my decision will be in the next 30 days, however I would be lying if I said I wasn't at least a little disheartened by the article. I'm contemplating picking up a Coleman grill/stove to use when camping. It won't neccesarily be used much on motorcycle trips, since it's fairly good size (and it's just easier to hit a DQ local to the area ), but for trips where I'll be sitting in one place for a couple days. This one has both a grilling area, a stove, and a griddle to cook those morning pancakes. The reviews seem promising, and the price is the cheapest I've found it anywhere. I just purchased these [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Bluetooth-Multi-Interphone-headsets/dp/B001SUZNGW/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1242399404&sr=8-4]Bluetooth Headsets[/ame] and will be installing them into my new GMAX helmets. These appear to be fairly new on the market, could only find a couple reviews. I am going to be using them extensively over the next couple weeks, should be able to post a review in early June. We needed new headsets, ours are old and don't work well anymore. I also wanted to lose the wires. There is a huge range of prices on the bluetooth sets....most are above what I'm willing to pay. These are about the same price as lower-end wired units. I'm just hoping that they work as advertised and as the minimal reviews stated. I'll let you know! Joe
