There may be cause or claim to a class action suit against Yamaha for intentionally producing a defective product. Thank's and fell free to pm me with any question's. Jake

  6. Hi all, Hopefully if the weather agree's, Swifty and I will be meeting up at the 168 exit off I-69 which is Imlay City for anyone else travelling thru this area at 9:30am on Sat, Oct. 8th. Fuel stop on North East corner of freeway. And then travelling to the Owosso meet up at the M21 Westown Shell 1/2 mile west of M52. Ride Hard/Ride Often/Ride Safe Jake.
  7. Sound's good, count me in for the meet up in Owosso...anyone have the location? Thank's

  9. Been using Metzler's on my 99 RSV since new. Right now having a new set put on with mileage being 24K on the front and 18K on the rear. Bike is ridden 2 up w/travel packing 80% of the time. Did have a bit of chop on the rear but nothing major. I do know that Metzler tire's last longer and run cooler when maintaining the air pressure toward the high side of maximum. I am having Nitrogen put in the new set and will evaluate the performance after the scuff period...
  10. Heal quickly and God Speed my friend... and if that don't work definitely talk with an experienced motorcycle injury attorney!!

  14. hey guy's, The manual I have state's that at TDC on the compression stroke on #1 cylinder that it can be acknowledged by the cam lobe's being opposite or facing away from each other. When I achieve TDC the cam lobe's are facing each other. Am I missing something hear or has 15 years of wrenching on cage's diminished my sense's? Is there a procedure listed here somewhere or have any of you done your own valve shim check? Thank's for any info, Jake.
