  1. Grab a room in Waynesville, NC. from there head south on NC 215, run it down to the BRP, make a right onto the parkway and run it back into Waynesville. Many nice forest, river and mountain vistas to stop and see. Spend another day or week doing a waterfall tour. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  2. The weights do help to dampen hand numbing handlebar vibrations. You can also insert a handlebar snake, they are usually made with lead shot in a fabric sleeve to further dampen vibration. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  3. Ride like you are invisible ! I never assume cross traffìc sees me. Weaving in your lane with all lights lit does increase your visibility to others. Condolences to the riders families. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  4. If I bring a tent, is it possible that I could pitch it on someone's site Wednesday night at the KOA? I'd only be the 1 night as I am heading to Gatlinburg on Friday. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  6. Where and when are the morning meetings to decide on the days ride? I live about 45 minutes or so from Ashville and would like to come up and join a day ride or two. Which KOA? East or west. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  7. We love having you lead the pack, no one else would have the foresight to take us through a cow pasture and 4 U-turns in one ride. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  12. Let me restate that. It is the inner race on the hub side, it necks down slightly on the end that goes into the bearing. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  13. It's the outer spacer on the hub side. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  17. I'm installing a new rear valve cover gasket, have the old gasket out and the sealing surfaces cleaned up. Last time I did this I used RTV silicone to seal the halfmoon area on each end of the head and after several years it was leaking again. Idon't have any RTV on Hand, but I do have a tube of Yamabond 4 semi drying liquid gasket, will the yamabond 4 work with the new rubber gasket?
  18. Thanks, I was able to patch it up again with some epoxy putty. Maybe Ill get by for a while.
  19. It's pulled loose from the mounting plate and pieces of the plastic housing that secure the screw ferrels are gone. I think it was caused by brake fluid that splashed on it while bleeding the clutch several years ago. I'm trying to repair it again, but eventually I'm going to need a new housing or a complete remote. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
