  1. Larry, Primanti Bros. is basically off of Novi road in front of the Wal-Mart. The shopping center is on the corner of Grand River and Novi road. They have the access road tore up off of Novi road so I would go in off of Grand River. Sunday lunchtime works for me. My wife has to work that Saturday and I think she wants to come.
  2. Need a confirmed head count. Oh Bob......are you going to be on the bike or driving the cage?
  3. Any plans made yet as to where and when?
  4. I agree with Bob, I don't care how much aftermarket goodies are on a bike, it adds virtually nothing to the price. I have an '07 with most of the trinkets and custom pin stripping. Won't get me too much more than a bike without it. It is what it is and if your going to be a bike owner, you better get used to it.
  5. VERY nice. Congrats! Enjoy and stick around!
  6. Well if want a HUUUUUUUUGE sammich...Primanti Bros. just opened in Novi.
  7. I took one out for a looooong test ride a few years back. I really liked it. I watch the dealers on Ebay and they sell new old stock bikes for around that price. Very good value for the dollar in my opinion. Some say the bags and trunk are flimsy. I really did not notice that.......not nearly as much as the Venture clutch whine..............or the cassette deck........... Really, if your in the market for a different ride and don't want to take out another mortgage, that Kawasaki is the ticket.
  8. Sounds good to me. I can make sure I am available on that Saturday or Sunday. I will keep an eye on this thread for updates.
  9. The Tri-Glide I rented for the day is the only trike I have ever rode, so I cannot give a good opinion. I will say that it took a lot of effort to turn. Heat was not an issue and it was in the mid 90's that day. I did put almost 200 miles on it. I like it a lot, but I would like to try a Hannigan. It all boils down to personal preference.
  10. Oh.......put in solitary confinement again ayyyy matey?
  11. Ok, which one of you lop eared varmits let cowpuc out of his cage? I know it was not on my watch. I told you people that if you do not keep an eye on him and a good lock on his cage he gets loose. Now he is no where to be seen. Geez, some peoples kids..................
  12. Indian or Harley will be my next one. And neither one will be new. I am not taking that hit on the resale vs new price. Mother Yamaha blew it. I no longer have an interest in any "new" touring bike they "may" come out with.
  13. Sorry Bob......none of it came through your nose did it?
  14. Quit trying to take your handgun into socialist countries and that won't happen.
  15. I absolutely refuse to have my phone blue toothed on my bike. That is one place I feel that you do not need to be on the phone. I watched my brother in-law one day texting while on his bike. Yup...he was. One of the reasons I no longer ride with him. Being on the bike is the one and only place I get any solitude and I am not changing that. Now I do have a Kuryakin windshield bag on my 07 RSV. I had to make an extension to get it long enough to tie into the windshield screws. Works real well.
  16. Has anyone seen the move "The Purge"? I could see it working.
  17. Ahhhhhhh................craigslist....................
  18. I do not like that visor that pops down. I do not like the shape. Bell needs to bring back the Mag 8 for us non-conformists.
  19. Mag 9's run tighter than the Mag 8. I personally wish they would bring back the Mag 8. I do not own a 9. I do not like all the added stuff or the shape. Everyone I know that has one does not like them.
  20. You got that right. Another thing.........try not to use a credit or debit at a gas station pump. Basically.....................pay cash for everything. Sucks that it happens, but technology unfortunately breeds crime.
  21. Bottom line for me ad the craigslist thing. I have bought and sold a lot on there. You are ALWAYS going to get people who want something for nothing. I generally will not reply to low ballers. Scammers are pretty easy for me to spot. Once confirmed they just get reported as spam.
  22. Jeff.....that is a really good idea. I never thought of that. I do not have my home address in my gps I use on my bike, but I did notice my wife has it programmed into the onboard gps in the Kia. And I also never thought of using the police parking lot. Ours is 2 miles down the road. Great tip !!!
  23. Obviously you never read or watch the news. There are a lot of individuals using craigslist to rob people. Has nothing to do with fear. It has everthing to do with keeping someone from imposing their will onto me. I just hope that one day the only thing I have to worry about is how I get my change back from a cashier.........................
  24. I do not even bother answering those people. And whenever I do sell something on craigslist, I meet the person away from my home in a public place and my .40 cal is strapped to my belt in full view.
  25. Makes it ALOT harder to steal your identity when using cash.
