    Sometimes when I go up a driveway I get a bang in the front forks, air pressure is at 14 lbs. Does anyone else get this??

    Michelins are not to good in the rain to hard a rubber great long life though I prefer avons great traction no matter what wet or dry. I would not skimp on tires just think its only two tires between you and the ground. If you check online I'm sure you can find them cheaper

    I am in need of a backrest for my 86 VR No one by me has any at the dealer. Hope somone is parting out a bike with one I wouldnt mine buying it.

    AH HA We finally got it to work had to pull apart the compressor it was blowing air instead of sucking it in via vent tube everything works good now. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE TIPS . I hope I can return the favor someday to someone else. This is actually my second venture first one was an 83 I will have to dig up some old photos to post. Dave

    I have done all the resoldering for an E4 code now im stumped still shows E4 DUH what am I doing wrong???? Is there a way to pump up shocks manually??? do not get E4 code now I get E2 code found I had a plug un plugged Dave:think:

    Thank you for the link found all 9 pins cracked resoldered put back together still reads e4 now im stumped any thoughts???????????

    Thank you did not see any pinholes just checked to see if seated correctly seems to be ok now maybe it was just still some gunk in fuel line ran 1/2 tank now seems to be better still running rich thou. now my suspension computer reads E4 and it is not working anyone know what that code is?? Dave

    Just bought an 86 Royale was told carbs were rebuilt ha took them off they were not so I took them apart and cleaned them put it all back with no extra parts I get it to idle at 1000 rpms but im getting popping and back fireing please help.
