  1. Please keep my wife in your prayers. She went to check on her father this morning and found him passed away on his kitchen floor. She is doing as well as can be expected but your prayers will be appreciated.
  2. One thing you should know, if you don't already. The '83 - early '85 models had a bad washer in the tranny. Usually they will lose second gear at somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 miles. Just something you should know if the engine has higher miles on it.
  3. That's going to be very cool. Hope you post some pictures of your build as you go.
  4. Hmmm....not sure what you mean. 194 appears to be his number.
  5. LOL....that's possible. . Seems ok now though. I just got another email that says they have it resolved.
  6. I contacted our hosting company as soon as I saw the issue. Here is the response: We have identified a HW failure in this chassis and are working to move the drives & array to spare hardware.
  7. No vacation for me. There was an issue. I hope it's ok now.
  8. Great write-up. I did indeed copy it to the tech library.
  9. Not in Ohio. 91 has ethanol just like all the others. About the only place you can get non-ethanol is at the marinas and, of course, you can't drive to those pumps to fill up.
  10. Excellent video. Thank you so much for taking the time. I have copied this to the Tech Library.
  11. Could have been worse. At least you salvaged it. I did something similar with a brand new set of Frog Toggs. They went into the trash.
  12. I'm almost 100% sure it's the same for the RSV.
  13. I'm not 100% which screw you are talking about. Sorry.
  14. OK folks...some of you know where FlyinFool lives. I'll bring the rope.
  15. Looking great. Looking forward to hearing how it turns out.
  16. What I've heard is that if you remove the silver trim at the bottom and put some weather stripping or something under it, it will solve the issue.
  17. Sorry, I haven't looked at moving the brake pedal but there is a .pdf versos of the service manual here: https://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?138119-2018-Star-Venture-TC-Service-Manual-and-Infotainment-Manual
  18. That number is not even active members. That is the number of members since the big crash several years ago. Even if they never joined, left, asked to be removed, etc., the counter keeps going. If a member's profile is removed, the count does not go down. As far as paid members, there are 631 at this time. It was a lot more several years ago but has come up just a bit since the new Venture was introduced.
  19. 15416
  20. Just for the record, our newest member is number 22,310.
  21. That is correct.
  22. Here are a couple of versions of a bracket.
