Reminds me of the old Dodges, back in the forties and early 50ies, the left hand wheels had left hand threads on the wheel lug nuts,,,,, now why was that?

Come home one day with a brand new Lexus, and the next day a Ferrari, and when she screams at you for being so darn foolish you argue a little, whine a bit, tell her how life is passing you by, but eventually tell her that's she's right, it's too much, better not spend so much. Then in a day or two take to see the new bike you like, tell her it's a Yamaha and it's much better, safer, trusted, more economical, cheaper on insurance, cheaper tires, costs less to service, looks better, rides nicer, more dependable, decent resale value and bound to get better, and you are being harassed by the VentureRiders and just can't take it anymore.

You might have an electrical issue, where the circuit heats up and then the connection comes apart,,,,, check your fuse box next time. when it shuts down, immediately check for power on the load side of the fuse box with the ignition turned on. You'll need to take a multi-meter along for this. -
Sorry I tried, but am not on FB.

This could be a real serious pain for you,,, all the trouble of finding the right adhesive and then getting to stay on. I suppose that's why we don't see that piece very often, most guys just find it a big bother, it needs careful tending, and you always have to keep an eye on your scoot in case it should fall off or go missing. The solution I purpose is to send it to me for save keeping. I have a special spot for such items and would not mind in the least to oblige you. Want my address?

The Canadian Medical Association has weighed in on the new Prime Minister's health care proposals: · The Allergists voted to scratch it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves. · The Gastroenterologists had a sort of a gut feeling about it, but the neurologists thought the Administration had a lot of nerve. · The Obstetricians felt they were all labouring under a misconception. · Ophthalmologists considered the idea short-sighted. · Pathologists yelled "Over my dead body!" while the Paediatricians said, "Oh, Grow up!" · The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, while the Radiologists could see right through it. · The Surgeons were fed up with the cuts and decided to wash their hands of the whole thing. · The ENT specialists didn't swallow it, and just wouldn't hear of it. · The Pharmacologists thought it was a bitter pill to swallow, and the · Plastic Surgeons said, "This puts a whole new face on the matter...." · The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists were pissed off at the whole idea. · The Anaesthetists thought the whole idea was a gas, but the Cardiologists didn't have the heart to say no. · In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the asses in Ottawa.

Looks like there was protection, the wires did not melt, it was the fuse holder, so looks like a poor connection or short in the fuse block.

You're doing good bud,,, looks real good,,,,, so when's the next one.

Good for you Bob,,, God bless you two!

Problem #3 is you should have more circuits, I think maybe you cooked it by drawing too much for too long, things got warm enough to overheat and then melt together. Each wire should have it's own circuit, fused with the right amperage. You could also have a loose leg on the fuses. Looks like maybe the one side was arching, and so slowly got hot. just some thoughts.

If you have a leak, you have a leak and heavier oil won't fix the problem. Clean everything real well, start the bike and watch where exactly the oil comes from. If it comes off the bottom, try to follow it to the top, to make sure it is coming from the bottom.

For the best advice on this one, we might do better with some pictures. You could try JB weld, but it might not hold due to expansion, contraction of the case.

Could be a crack in the cover, grab some cleaner and clean the cover real well, if there is a crack it will show up as a black line.

In a Garmin Zumo you can go to settings, navigation, and then avoidances, and then you can avoid all kids of stuff.

If you don't have the time or wherewithall to do it right the first time,,, where are you going to find the same for doing it all over again the second time around??? Not that easy to type and a whole lot harder to do,,, I Know!!!!

Best put it on a jack and then run it in gear, maybe give you a more direct area of the problem. As you describe it, it could be anywhere between the rear wheel and the engine. Sounds in the drive train can change when the forward pressure is taken away.

Which exhaust header?

Stock connects 1&2 and 3&4. If you connect them opposite of that you will have a puf puf out the back at either side and a build up of pressure on either side. My thought would be to go to #2 pictures, makes more sense to me. -
It's BLUE,, wow,, I mean BLUE,,, must be FAST, keep hold of the reins and keep her up straight. Nice looking ride,,, enjoy.

My nose is dripping and it ain't even cold now. Got to say that my kids are doing a much better job of this than we did. Yes money is important, but does is really matter that we die broke with our family at our bedside? I think that would be a lot better than dieing watching that big screen with surround sound and a 'Caddie' sitting there to take us to the next stop. Thanks for the reminder! -
Ouchie Ouchie,,, be careful not to put too much air in them there tires, tends to make them slippery to say the least, and they will be slippery for the first 50 to 100 miles anyways.

Plastic repair or sources for new.

Maybe one ot the steps you missed is that Plastifix will not adhere to paint, so the paint has to be removed, also from the back side. The other step is to make sure in the situation of a tab, that you build up the inside corners as best as possible. I have fixed a number of tabs and cracks, and the only one I had problems with were the ones where I didn't remove the pan first. And everything has to be CLEAN!
