God created us to live,,, yes live forever, that's why it's so scary to die, along with the fact that we haven't been there before, and we don't know anybody that's been there and come back,,,, unless of course you have met Yeshua, that is Jesus. He's been there, and come back, and assured us that there is a place waiting for each one of us. Meet with Him and then some, if not all of the scary part will dissipate. Then you can see the bigger picture and realize that we are only here for a very short while and can soon meet again on 'the other side of the river', and then never, ever, to be separated again.
Yes you love her, and can only wish the best for her. It's a transition that is not natural so keep her close, talk about her future and yours, don't try to hide it and pretend it's not going to happen, share stories of the past, good ones and not so good ones.
Her outlook will change now that she is facing an unknown road, but you can help her deal with it and she can help you deal with yours when your time comes. Hopefully there will be tears, and hugs, and maybe some outright crying,,,, that's OK, fact is, it's good. So take some time to be together, and love each other, soon you will again see each other.
In the mean time we will pray for you all that you may receive the blessings that can be yours through this time of sorrow.
