  1. You all must understand that Ben has a problem spelling Carl, hence he typed Ben in #9.
  2. Marcarl

    Why?

Didn't you say your were buying if this ever came up again???
  3. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all,,, may you find blessings even in the time of sorrow.
  4. Hopefully this time it works well. Amazing what can be done now-a-days, 60 year ago you might of had to live it, today, sometimes there is help available. God Bless.
  5. Hey Eddie, maybe you could post this on the calendar, that way it's easier to get a headcount.
  6. Just keep in mind that if and when you lock that differential, you'll immediately loose all your steering capabilities,,,, kind of dangerous if you ask me..
  7. I asked God to look after you two,,, He will in some way. Nothing ever happens in this life without the will of the Creator. Sometimes blessings come in strange ways, and sometimes we just need to give ear to His call. Whatever happens, know that we are with you, and will intercede for you.
  8. We're only getting this so that we can be ready for the next heat wave,,,, rain on the weekend!!!!!
  9. We're with you Dan, my mother-in-law also had to spend some time in the hospital, just an overnight, but she didn't want to stay there either,,, can understand somewhat what you're going through. You wonder what would be best, stay in hospital and have her suffer there or take her home to do more damage. It's not an easy thing to decide. May blessings be with you as you consider the right route to take, and may she feel the peace of the Creator with her as she deals with this part of her life.
  10. See it worked,,,,,, I was early and Ben came just in time to be too late,,,,,, hey the host should be there ahead of time to make sure everybody gets a good welcome,,,,,, but don't worry Ben, we CAN look after ourselves. Thanks for setting this up, the food was good, the company quite enjoyable, although I ended up sitting next to Rockin Robin,, but she didn't steal any of my food and she kept her hands above the table,, so all is good. Let's do this again next year,,and maybe sooner!!!
  11. Where was this going to be held??????? I can't seem to remember,,,,, Kan I kom?????
  12. The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility. As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English". In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c".. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter. There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f".. This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter. In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away. By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v". During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensi bl riten styl. Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi TU understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru. Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst plas. If zis mad you smil, pleas pas on to oza pepl.
  13. My 85 is kind of hard to push when it's cold and hasn't been started, unless I remember to put it in neutral first, ten pull the clutch handle,,, then it's much easier. It seems the clutch drags a bit with the oil between the plates. Once it has turned over once or twice then it becomes manageable, still heavy, but can be done. Maybe your clutch isn't working quite right and needs to be bled out.
  14. Check to make sure that all the choke plungers (enrichment valves, start circuit) are returning to the in position, could be that one is hanging up, and that could be to misalignment of the leaver off the shaft or the shaft itself.
  15. Looks like they have what you need, kit looks complete and the price is right,,, as far the quality of the products, I have no idea, but they do give a lifetime guarantee,, but then again, that's only good if they stay in business. I think, for the price, I would go for it. If you buy the kit from Yamaha it will cost you at least $100.
  16. One little glitch in the EFI system and you're sitting along the road with people shaking their heads and saying,,,,, that's a bummer, need to take it in to see what the mechanic can do. One little glitch on the carb system and you might not even notice until somebody asks you why it doesn't sound smooth. With these machines, believe it or not, many of our members have been riding on 3 cylinders and not even noticed.
  17. Bet you're going to get some cyber looks!!!
  18. Plug at the bottom of the waterpump, and then if you look under the rad, there is a little hose coming out of there with plastic nut, needs to be turned to the off position. Position point is at 2 o'clock. You'll need a light to see the writing properly.
  19. I got a RC heli, was at my daughters in Orillia and my 5 year old grand son, (a transformer addict) was all excited and promptly told me that if I needed help to fly, he coulld show me how it was done. Well we charged it up and when ready I called him over for my first lesson. He grabbed the controller like a professional, pointed it at the heli that was sitting on the table and moved the controls. That little beast just fly right off the table and dove for the floor. Not to phased he put it back on the table and gave it another shot,,,, same reaction but this time nailed his mother in the process. He handed the controller to me and said: Guess you'll have to learn on your own grandpa, and walked away!!! I also got a new light, it's a spider type, neat, a nice sign that Marca says has to hang but the bed, a new sign for the man cave, some small Master Craft pliers, a box of cornflakes, a card game, and lots of good times with my family. AND OH,,, I almost forgot,,,,,, I GOT TO PLOW SNOW FOR MOST OF THE DAY YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so whatever I spent is now paid for again,,,,,,,,, psssst, I didn't spend much,, dutch you know!!!!
  20. Only seen one picture of somebody I recognized, and the rest were good lookin', How did that happen? Thanks for posting big guy, may you be blessed.

  22. Diving the bearings out will not make them any better, so best to count on replacing them in the process. All bearings are common, so are available from a local bearing dealer, except the right rear I believe, and that is a needle bearing, only available from Yamaha, and they might not have it in stock so you might have a while to wait.
  23. New diaphragms are available here: http://jbmindustries.com/index.html They do mount differently, but we have tried them and find them to work well so far, 2 years and counting.
  24. Good one Puc,,,, keep it up.
  25. Now that explains it!
