  1. You could always look at it in a different light, and I have a light I could send you,, but the shipping would kill ya!
  2. Is this on the 99 or the 83?
  3. Now let's see and analysis this. You go for a trip, have lots of fun, see lots of stuff, do somethings that are different,,,,,etc, etc,, but in the end you come home and have to save and wait for the next time you can go out on another trip. In the meantime you save and scrimp, give up the little things that happen around just to get away again,,and maybe sometime down the road you won't know what it's like to be HOME anymore. Or you could buy your honey a scoot, and then go out tonight for a ride, enjoy it, and go again tomorrow night. You could and would have lots of fun, see lots of stuff, do somethings that are different,,,,,etc, etc,,and you could keep doing this for a long time and not have to worry so much about when and where. Major difference is that the one you do a couple of times per year and the other a couple of times per week,,,, now I got to think about how best to advise you,,,,,,later!
  4. So it WAS your birthday,, well sorry I'm late,,, but blessings for the year ahead anyways. Hope you can enjoy many more.
  5. My guess is, look under 'Product Options', at the top right corner of you ad. If that don't work, delete it and post a new thread.
  6. So you can package Brenner's, Midicat's, and one of each for me, together and send them to me, and bill me as well...... I can get the blood out of them later.
  7. The first one I built I used 1\2 copper tubing, T's and elbows, but it looked awful and so I went a spent the big bucks,,, probably about $30 at the time.
  8. If you are no good at estimating, don't estimate!!, Did he include the lunch ticket as well??
  9. Those gauges are all different,. The only way to know for sure what the temp is you need to check it with an infrared gauge. Mine used to run on cold until the weather really got warm and the fan would lick in just before the red,,,, but like I said, they're all different.
  10. No problem then,,,, see you when you get there. Would you like me to get a beer ready for you??? oh never mind, you want it cold,,right??
  11. I'm going to have to see this in person, so when are you coming to visit?
  12. Will there be enough room to sit? will they have enough food? do I have to eat somebody else's meal? will FreeBird be on time? do they have real beer? is it going to be hot, or cold? will it rain on my parade? will somebody try to outclass my Spyder? Lots of questions that won't have any answers until it happens,,, and if you don't attend we can tell you stories 'til the cows come home,, What a great way to start the annual BS session!
  13. Just there to make all you post watchers feel good,,,,,
  14. Yep,,, bet they would,,, and guess what it is that they use.
  15. Well I wouldn't say they were 'full swing' operators,, at least not here,,,, but I get your drift. Guess they figured it cheaper this way, rather than a possibility of loosing in 5 finger discount.
  16. OR???? spring pull switch?
  17. Micro-switch??
  18. Seeing as you drilled the head off, the point of the drill bit you used will leave a centering dimple in the remainder. Now go slow, using first a small bit and then ever larger. Don't jumps sizes and make sure they are sharp. Take your time to make sure you are going straight is also important. It'll work, just don't push it.
  19. If you did it carefully and used a drill the just fit the bore you should have a dip in the centre of the screw that will guide a super small bit into the centre of the screw. I would suggest to start with a 1\16 bit, and work a little at a time. Slowly, carefully drill the brass out of there, careful not to go past the threaded part or you'll end up buggering up the pilot hole. Drill a fes rounds, blow it out, check it, drill a few more rounds. Once you get through the threads the rest will fall out, no need for a bit down that far. If everything is still in place with the 1\16 bit, go the next size up,,,,,,, and oh,,, don't use a dull bit.
  20. I guess the word that concerns the most is 'in-experience'. You used it, we didn't, so it's how you feel. May I suggest that you first need to feel more at home solo, before you attempt to grow beyond that?
  21. I hope they're not Harleys,,, be kind of difficult getting Yammer to follow with a trailer, and you know oil floats,,,, right??? Have fun
  22. As you move the lever with the cover off, take the handle of a screw driver and lightly tap the hose connection end of the cylinder. There is air trapped at that end and you need to get that out. It also helps to turn the handle bars to the right so that the MC is in the highest position.
  23. hey,,, how come I didn't see ya,,, don't stop and say Hello anymore????
  24. Oh Oh,, there goes the neighbourhood!!!! Congrats Dave,, does that mean we have to get the coffee ready???
  25. Wwwwwhhattttt --tttt-y-yy-y-you mean Nono-no=now??
