yep, been there, done that. You have 2 bearings back there. One is a ball bearing (# 6304 I think, standard type) the other is only available from Yamaha, it's a needle bearing and you'll need to order the inner race separately. The seals are both standard.

get the rear wheel off the ground, spin it, wiggle it back and forth.
-
I would do as indicated earlier, I would also check the u-joint at the front of the drive shaft.

OK, now this thread is going south!!!!

We used a stock sized shield. I had to sit up to see over it,,, bit of a bummer, but my passenger is also important and with a lower shield (we tried it) her head was constantly whipped from side to side. Now that could be to the strength etc of her neck muscles, but the condition was there so the stock size was in as well as 2 inch wings on either side. Marca first used a Bell 3\4 helmet but it had a visor on the front and caught a lot of wind for her, so we discontinued that one and now both use 3\4 with short visors. We don't use the 1\2 helmets for safety reasons,,, at least in our head anyways, and neither of us can get into a full face without needing to rip it off.

Well,, one thing good about all this snow,,,,,, I can't see any grass yet, so Marca hasn't told me told me to go cut it, and I can still keep my shirt on, and don't have a sunburn, and am not getting wet in a rainstorm, and the beer is still stocked, and the Maple Leafs haven't lost the season yet, and my Spyder is not ready yet, and I am still making money on this white stuff, and spring will be sooooooooo nice when it gets here.

I request your prayers
Marcarl replied to Freebird's topic in Inspirational, Motivational, Prayer Requests, Etc.
Do you live to work,,, or work to live? Compensation should be the word used,,, not so much the word 'money'. Prayer is a good thing, we just need to remember to ask Him, and when we ask we need to be satisfied with the answer given,,,,, ya, sometimes it's not what we are looking for, but He will guide us through the maze. Ask Him and then unlax. Seems to me that you already have your answer, but that to walk out of a room that you comfortable with is a bit scary, seeing as you are not quite sure of what the next room is like. You may say you trust Him, now you just have to show it. Even if you make a mistake, He will turn it to your good. Romans 8:28. Compensation comes in different forms, one of which is money, but that really is only a little part,,,, time with family rates close to #1 , as is recognition, appreciation............ Every night sleeping with the one you love,, or only on the weekends?? and you still have an income,,, count your blessings, name them one by one, count your blessings, see what God has done,,, and is now offering you. Prayers up for you as well. Hope Eileen can take you 7 days a week, maybe we should pray for her as well. -
Any body miss this thread http://www.venturerider.org/forum/meet-n-eats/98415-kitchener-ontario-white-north.html#post895342

Can't figure that out,,, they didn't ask for my cell phone password,,, so why did it take so long?
-
Been there, done that,,,, too many people and not my kind of a crowd. Now I think in March it maybe somewhat quieter, and less conjested,, but pilgrimages is not my thing anyways.
-
OOOOOKKKK now that that is all cleared up I'm happy Thanks Guys
-
Thanks Wayne Both threads showed up in What's New Neither showed up in the Watering hole Is this how it's supposed to be? I thought everything showed up in the WH, except what a person decided he didn't want and so marked that in his profile.
-
Now that I've posted to it,,,,,, it's gone again,,, got to go to forums to find it. Replied to Groundhuggers thread and that showed up just fine. I think this new program doesn't like me,,, maybe I should register under a different name,,, I feel left out somehow,,, like it's not important what I spend half the day typing,,,,, I'm getting depressed, coming up with all the things I'm thinking of. Do I need to go see a Dr.????
-
Been 65 now a couple of times over,,,, maybe the more often you get to celebrate that milestone the less it seems to affect the brain. Got to say though, it's been fun and interesting. Lots to keep me busy and a wife that looks after me,,, boy can she cook!!!! and other things as well. It's one day at a time, plan too far ahead and somebody will come along to spoil those plans,,, but oh well,,, I'm retired so if it don't happen today, there is always tomorrow,,, and if tomorrow don't come for me, I will be happier than if it did,,,,, not that I want to move on, but I don't have too much to say over that, so I let Him be governor over that.

Ok so now this thread shows up in Whats' New, but not in the Watering Hole and it did show up in it's own forum before, so I'm guessing that is still good. The Kitchener thread though is still lost in it's own hidy hole, buried deep away in M&G forum.
-
Did all that, then I went back and set them all to exclude, and then went back in to view them all,,, so I selected 'none'. Each time I got out of FF and restarted, just in case,,, still no luck, even with this thread.
-
So now,, this thread should show up under 'new posts' because you posted to it,,, but it doesn't.
-
Ya, I found it because your reply showed up in my in-box and I followed that link. So does it show up in your wateringhole and new posts? Doesn't for me,, I have to go to the forum to find it.
-
Went through that, couldn't find the solution. Also, this thread doesn't display either, so has the same problem.
-
I posted a new thread for the Kitchener M&G on Friday in the Meet& Greet forum. Shouldn't this also end up in the Watering Hole or New Posts? It doesn't seem to want to come up there. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/meet-n-eats/98415-kitchener-ontario-white-north.html

Won't be long Brenner,,,, get yourself ready,,, the onslot is coming.

Poll time: Do you like or dislike loud pipes? COME ONE - COME ALL!!
Marcarl replied to cowpuc's topic in Watering Hole
So far this thread is surprising,,,, we are only stating our own opinion and haven't got on to anybody else for theirs,,,,,, NICE JOB!!! Keep it up. IMHO, the only person that is happy with the sound,,, ok, loud sound,,, of their machines is the rider,,, and maybe sometimes a bi-stander. Mostly though it's only the owner of the machine. I have never noticed anybody going up to another and ask them to fire up their bike so that they could listen to the noise,,,, hear it maybe yes,,, but stand there to listen and drink it in.... not so much. On the same hand I find that if there is a bike with loud pipes they are mostly relegated to the back of the pack so everybody doesn't have to hear that the whole time. On the other side,,, there was one set of pipes that I would ride with anytime,,,, and they were on the Road Star of Halrvs99 wife's Gail's bike,,,, they were sweet. No noise on the run really, but if she cranked it, it spoke a little. Wonder what they were?? -
Brings a whole new meaning to what I thought to be a deadbeat song...... thanks
