  1. Not so bad,,, really quite good,,,,, but now I wonder what the Squid has on you seeing as you let him off so easy,,, or maybe it's Lonna's cheese cake that has you is such a state.?.?.?
  2. Could be air trapped in the MC as well. With your bike on the side stand, turn the front wheel all the way to the left so that the MC reservoir is at the top. Make sure you have rags under the handle bar, remove the cover and then slowly squeeze the handle just a little so that the plunger moves. You might find a few wee little bubbles come up in the reservoir. You can also lightly tap the the banjo bolt to help things along as you wiggle the plunger.
  3. I was going to let Cowpuc come up with a good story,, could have been interesting indeed,, maybe he still will. Could have started with how good cheese cake is to eat, and then followed by visiting rights, and maybe going into bike repair and then discussing eating to fill out the belt line,,,,, well maybe he will. But yes Squid,, it was all about you!!!
  4. I still use MapSource. It's a Garmin program no longer available, but I have the file. 56000kb
  5. He's not back is he???
  6. So when is it you're going back to work?? The first couple of weeks is like holidays, then maybe you can extend it to a vacation,,, but after that??? If you need to keep busy, give me a call. Looks like you're having fun already,,, what's his name?
  7. There's a thistle out there,, I can almost see it,,, right on Saddlebums spot,, glad I'm not sleeping with him.
  8. If it were battery fluid, that is acid, so you need to flush and wash with baking soda. Check the area under the battery with a heavy runny mixture of baking first to see if the battery did leak, even though it is dry now it will still eat away at everything in it's path. If the baking soda bubbles, you have acid, keep washing until all bubbling stops.
  9. I'll be there,,, I met Earl before and there really is nothing to be afraid of,,, so come out to meet him, he's kind of a nice chap but usually so busy that he doesn't stick with you for long. Thanks for all your help in helping others Earl.
  10. One thing that is different is the computer display,, for the rest you'll have to wait for real answers.
  11. High temp could be due to the drain setting on the drain valve located bottom and center of rad. It's a plastic nut with the words off and on embossed on the face. The word 'off' should be at the 2 o'clock position. Once you have that figured out, it's time to sync the carbs to eliminate that being an issue. You might find in the process that once the carb linkages get warm that they might be hanging up.
  12. Only 1 week to go and planning needs to be completed. Please check the calendar if you are coming!!!!!,,, would be a real bummer if we didn't have enough room on the dinner plate for all of you. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=433&day=2015-5-23&c=1 Weather looks to be quite acceptable, the trees are greener, the snow is gone. I'll cut the grass, clean up the shop, flush the toilet, check with the neighbours, inform the cops, make sure there will be enough gas at the station, tell Marca she's on duty, see about cleaning the road, set out some chairs, plan a route for the afternoon, set out butt buckets, and lastly,,, get my speech ready! Hopefully everything will be ready for all you folks,, if not, I know where I can find some help,,,, so bring your working gloves!
  13. Guess I need glasses maybe,,, that wouldn't be the Rooster now would it???
  14. Yes,,, A dog has a master. But A cat has staff.
  15. Bringing a skidoo suit??
  16. Hey,,, $12 \yr, for sleeping neked??? that's all,,, would you feel better iffin you were charged $24\yr. Now if you want to do that, just let me know, I'll send somebody up that can accommodate such things, but don't ask that person to look in the fridge or go looking for your socks, because seeing wouldn't be one of the strong points of said person.
  17. I'll bet somebody is wishing that the title of this post were somewhat different,,, like maybe: does somebody have an extra bed, or, looking to share a room,, or need room for MD. But announcing to the whole world that you would like to sleep with someone,,that's pretty forthright, and then to make such an announcement on this forum,,,, oh that's going to be some fun.
  18. He may still do that,,,, it's only a 'one night stand' anyways. It's OK with me either way. 'course if he starts crowing at the crack of dawn, I don't want to be around when they go out to shoot the rooster.
  19. Ok so the next question: do YOU snore??
  20. OK so question still stands>>>>>>>> how many do you need??? and the rest of you guys,,, go back to sleep,, I'm awake now!! I'll take care of it!!
  21. Just rented a room @ Quality in Elyria. It has 2 beds,,, how many do you need???
  22. Did you sell a trailer to Raggie or a phone?? all I see him doing is playing with his phone,,,, I'd be thinking that he would be most interested in his newest toy. Nice find Raggie,, hope u enjoy it.
  23. Easy enough to figure out. Put some on your fingers, if it's smells like brake fluid, it's brake fluid, other than that it's oil. The oil most times will be black as well. If that doesn't work for you, try cleaning your fingers now with plain water. If they clean up, it's brake fluid, if the liquid stays more or less put, it's oil. Brake fluid will make a mess of any painted surfaces, so keep that in mind. Oil won't bother so much, but either will not be something you want on your brake pads, so best check them out as well.
