    I have been running Seafoam with every other tank of gas I buy....NO problems with my plugs....They are NGK Iridiums and have over 46K on them....Still running great. Boomer....who sez being a ray of "Sunshine" has its merits.

    IMHO.....GARMIN.....They stand behind every GPS they produce and you'll go far to beat their customer service. Boomer....who sez even the pygmies can't pooch up his Garmin.

    If your Dealer will allow it cut the OEM fuel pump connector off and save it for use on the Aftermarket back-up fuel pump. Several of us have the Mr. Gasket aftermarket fuel pumps which we carry as a spare pump. I don't have the particulars on hand but I'm sure other members here will chime in with that info. I bought mine at Auto Zone but I'd bet NAPA has them also. Boomer.....who's running with an 03 OEM fuel pump thanks to Bubber.

    My vote goes to Stebel and its effectiveness ! Boomer....who sez a 2nd Stebel on the scoot is in the near future....And as for SOME Cagers the saying of "Ya can't fix stupid" comes to mind.

    I'm not asking or telling anyone here to respect or honor the 1%'ers. My only intent in starting this thread was to raise awareness of their existence. Believe it or not the Outlaw gangs are growing and spreading out. If you have not been exposed to them it is only a matter of time before you will. They ride the same roads we ride, visit the same food joints we do, and get gas at the same stations we do. Wear what you want when on your bike. Set up your vest anyway you choose. And when you finally come in contact with these dudes.... play it any way you want with them. I had hoped to offer more info on this thread....and hoped others here would add their knowledge as well. Obviously a few here think I am championing the lifestyle of the 1%'ers....and they are WRONG. Boomer....who sez just cause you have the freedom to kick a bull in the balls does not mean there won't be a price to pay.

    Mike....To me there is a difference between "discussion" and "debate". I don't feel that I have lost anything throughout this thread....Actually I hope that some Members here benefitted from this thread. Boomer....who sez that shooting the messenger generally pooches things up pretty good.

    You can put both of them on your vest. The BIG issue with the 1%'ers is when you put a territorial rocker under the large patches....and the large patch indicates a "MC"...aka Motorcycle Club.

    I don't have the actual stats on hand but Fed and State LEO's who I know have pretty much confirmed the 1% number compared to regular MC riders. It does not make much of a difference really....the important thing is that we in the riding community are AWARE of their existence and act accordingly to avoid confrontations with them....thus the purpose of my posting this topic. Note: A good Statistician can make the numbers read whatever he/she desires....a look at our Federal budget proves that....

    Basically yes....Only 1% of the motorcycle community nationwide are classified as Outlaw Clubs by Federal,State,and local LEO. For folks desiring more info on this topic I suggest you Google "Motorcycle Protocol" and read the plethoria of info that is available on the Net. There are many Do's & Don'ts regarding 1%'ers when you come into contact with them anywhere. In this case knowledge = survival.

    Hell's Angels are 1%'ers....and there are many Outlaw MC Clubs out there. The State Police are known for keeping tabs on these Clubs and they will gladly tell you which Clubs are within your State.

    I'm wondering, since in this club we do a lot of long distance touring and are 11,000 strong, how many of us have actually been asked to remove their rockered vests by a 1%'er while riding?? Several years ago I was in NY for a PGR Mission. On my way back to CT I stopped at a roadside Biker Bar to take a break. Within minutes I was asked by a 1%'er to remove my vest (CVMA with NO rockers). I simply said "No problem" and removed my vest. I had no further problems while in the Bar and the 1%'ers even paid for my burger and coke. It is what it is.

    member of the CVMA A "rocker" is a patch of any shape,color,or design which indicates territory and is placed beneath the large back patch. Example....My CVMA back patch would violate protocol if I put a "rocker" under it which said Lake Charles,La. or simply Louisiana. I have been with the CVMA long enough to say that in every instance where a problem has occurred with the 1%'ers in any given State it was because a member of the CVMA had put that territorial "rocker" under his back patch.

    My common sense tells me yes. There is a caveat to all this tho....Riding Clubs in any State can meet(ie:Have a Sit-down) with the Council of Clubs and get their Patch with Rocker sanctioned and approved by the ruling 1%'ers within the COC. IMHO this issue is not BS. The average Joe goes to a bike rally and buys patches to put on his vest. No big deal really.....But these 1%'ers have to EARN every patch on their vest and to them it is a big deal because it is their way of life. Accept it or not, it is what it is and has been that way since combat Vets returned from WWII and formed the Outlaw Biker Gangs. Ask any LEO and they will tell you that for the most part the 1%'ers live outside of the laws which we abide by. This in itself should indicate to anyone that these dudes are not to be trifled with.
