    What GPS do you have? If you have the Zumo 550 you can't make phone calls because Garmin does not support that GPS and the Blue Tooth needs to be updated, You have to turn off the blue tooth in the GPS .I have the same issues. I'm not going to buy another M/C GPS just to be able to make calls.

    For Christmas of last year My wife agreed that I needed to be able to receive phone calls on my bike.(that surprised me seen how she does not like me having a motorcycle.) So I ordered the J&M JMDM-IPBT- JCB03 with the B model adapter. My son and I installed it this week and I tell you it is worth every bit of the $350.00 299.99 for the unit and 49.99 for the adapter for the B model CB. Installation was pretty much plug and play. the only problem I found is the because I have the Garmin Zumo 550 and not a newer GPS and Garmin does not support the 550 anymore I can't make phone calls while riding but I can receive all the calls I want which is fine with me because I don't need any other distractions. I had to turn off the Bluetooth in the GPS and pair my phone the Samsung S-5 to the Bluetooth adapter and set up my phone to automatically answer all calls. I tried it in my garage then on the road. comes in loud and clear on both ends. I can play music from my phone or listen to XM radio through my radio. when I receive a call it cuts out the music and resumes when the call ends I figure if I need to make a phone call I can pull off the road and make the call. and the wife can call to check up on me or ask/tell me to bring some food home for supper. I would give this 5 stars across the board.

    I had a picture of a 4 wheeled Honda gold wing I took at a leather shop in Southern KY. How would that be licensed? I think it was from KY . KY did it as a MC.

    I have bought Helmets and head sets from them. I dorve there from Lexington Ky and they were closed on a Saturday. They are good people to work with. quick shipping if you live too far to go there.

    Thanks for all the replies, The Stator was the problem, I still wont not got my bike back before monday, the dealer called me on Wednesday and said that they messed up a gasket and would not have it until Monday. Monday being a holiday, I don't know when i will get my bike back. The dealer is generally very good at getting my bike repaired and returned ASAP. I take my bike to a dealer 30 miles from Lexington even though there is a Dealer 5 miles from my house. Good service is the reason why.

    the stator is the problem, the other problem is that I bought a extended warranty but Yamaha has no record of it. I found this out when the dealer called me and told me my warranty expired in Nov 12. The dealership I bought my bike from has gone under. If I can find the paper's then I can prove that I have the extended warranty.

    Thank You Jeff. I thought I would get more power from the HO Stator. It may be the RR that is bad. my bike has not been checked out yet. Jim

    My charging system is not working, I mentioned to the dealer that I may want to get the high output from Buckeye performance. The tech said I will need a high output reg/Rectifier. I don't think I do but I am not sure. Please advise. Jim

    If it at a gas stop I will leave it on the seat. If I am going in to eat I will take it in. When I am at work, I take it in or lock it in the trunk. yes my RSTD has a trunk.

    I have BUB Sleeper's on my 07 RSTD. I have had them on for 17 months. I noticed in June that the tip's are flaking. I just called BUB and they sell new tips and baffles for $100.00. I think when I get home next June I may remove the mufflers and sand and paint the tips Black. Jim
