I replaced the valve covers and intake gaskets last year on my 2004 van. It had 200 K miles on it and the last 140 k was with Rottella. The inside of the engine looked like new. I had changed the oil every 4 K to 5 K miles.

I got home about 4:30 PM. I ran into so really hard rain the last 150 miles. I am thankful for the top and good wipers LOL. I had a great time. Earl

I wished every CMA member would make the journey out to the CMA National Headquarters and attend a national event at Iron Mountain. You will have a greater appreciation of what CMA does around the world. Plus you will have a great time. Earl

My local dealer, Ron Ayers Motorsports of Greenville NC, has a red Venture and a silver Eluder on the floor. They are having their 27thAnnual Open House May 25 & 26th. Yamaha Demo Day Rides and I think Honda will have demo rides also.

If I get there, it will be on a Yamaha FJR. I am not worrying about having to park in the back-parking lot. Dan will let me park it by his tent. Earl

Tap on the fuel pump and see if it starts pumping. Thepoints are probably stuck. If they stickone time more than likely they will stick again.

As bad as 2017 was for many, I have to say for me it has been a good year. My out of pocket money to Doctors was 1/5 of what it was last year. Yes, I thank the Lord for the extra time and money to ride the bike!!!! I do pray we will all have a better year in 2018.

I would check the engine valve adjustments. On some small engines the compression release will not work if valves are out of adjustment.

A good parts store can identify the type of transmission you have by the shape of the pan and number of bolts that hold it on. Earl

My friend inherited one from his mother about 10 years ago.It was a low mile, very nice car. I tried to buy it from him, but he would notlet it go.
