I want to thank everyone for your prayers. It’s been six weeks since my finial radiation treatment and I am doing great. I just got back from a three thousand mile bike trip and I did great.

Praying for a total recovery

Joe was coming back from New Port News. He had been on a job there for a few weeks. He did say his hip and back was only letting him ride short distances.

I got a big surprise Friday. I was heading south on I 95 on the bike and a car eased up beside me. They ran along side of me for awhile and when I looked over at them they were trying to get my attention. They speed up and then pulled off the road right at an exit. When I passed them I recognized the driver. It was Venture Rider etcswjoe. We both took the next exit and had a nice visit. I am sure glad Joe was checking out Ventures.

It’s amazing what the doctors can do, especially heart surgeons. Praying you will have a fast recovery.

We had lots of rain Saturday and wind and rain Saturday night. I had one large tree go down, it just missed my shop. All in all we were blessed not to have more damage. We have a few roads closed, but I can get where I need to go.

One of the weak areas of the charging system is the connector at the voltage reg. If the battery and grounds check good, I would drop the VR and look at the connector.

Hallelujah!!! I had my last radiation treatment on 9-16-16. I truly do praise the Lord for His comfort during this stressful time. Thanks for your prayers and please continue to pray. The doctor said it would be at least a month before I will get back to normal.

When mine goes on reserve, it will take 4.2 gals to fill. If you ran out and it only took 4,4 gals you were not on reserve

My Times UP? A 54 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near death experience. Seeing God she asked 'Is my time up?' God said,'No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live.' Upon recovery,> the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair color and brighten her teeth! Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it. After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance. Arriving in front of God, she demanded, 'I thought you said I had another 43 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?' (You'll love this) God replied: 'I didn't recognize you.'

I have a tour master on the front of my RSV with about 15,000 miles on it. It still looks great and rides good too. I ran two on the rear of the RSV and two on the rear my XS1100 and only got 5 to 6K out of them. The next time I need one for the front it will be a tour master, but no more on the rear for me.
