Second song was " All I have to do is dream" by the Everly Brothers Third song was "At the Hop" by Flash Cadillac and The Continental Kids Lemme know Bob

djh3 Posted February 11, 2015 Share #12 Posted February 11, 2015 Just fire up pandora, and put in the search something like 50's and see what pops up and try it our. I can tell you I have a few stations saved like Stevie Ray Vaughn. I have listened to it for like 10 hours and not heard a repeat.

Barrycuda Posted February 11, 2015 Share #15 Posted February 11, 2015 I would stay away from frost wire because it has attachments that stay on your computer in the background. People have been sending you PM. If you have what you need, sweet. If not, hit me up. As a former musician and listening to those songs from my mom as a kid, I have a rather extensive collection of music, over 5 TB full. From Tibetan wind chimes to death metal. I'm sure there are some 50's rock I can find for ya. Keep me posted. B---

Freebird Posted February 12, 2015 Share #19 Posted February 12, 2015 I don't think I want to set up music sharing for a couple of reasons. First of all, you get into royalty and copyright law problems. Secondly, the bandwidth use could end up killing us.

bongobobny Posted February 12, 2015 Author Share #21 Posted February 12, 2015 Thanks to all who have contributed! When the dust settles I should be able to come up with a good 4 hour 50's sock hop playlist for a project I'm working on. Sometime in the future I may try to compile a 60's/70's psychedelic underground playlist but it's really hard to find the obscure stuff...

Ok me and the kids used Frostwire after Limewire got the boot from the net..... I just browsed Frostwire and I did not see an artist I recognized... not that I am a great music buff of anything new.
