WAY--WAY off topic

I have a crazy desire to purchase a Vintage Travel Trailer... like from pre 1960 or so. I have seen some pretty reasonable and some not so resonable.

I was wondring if any one on here has any leads to one.

Hummingbird has turned me on to the trail of one in or near Ohio.

I just love the look of those old trailers and the beatiful wood work in them.

Let me know if you have a lead on something in your neck of the woods.

Thanks Much! :missingtooth:

I don't know if this is your cup of tea or not, but the "egg" fiberglass campers seem to just last forever. I have a Casita 16ft that I got a few years back and fixed up. Replaced the floor with Laminate, new cabinet doors, etc. Was really a fun and not too hard project and it requires very little maintenance now.

Lots of neat models and info on the different types here:

I found a trailer and made an offer on it! :missingtooth:

It is a 1966 AVION H25. It needs some work but the major stuff has already been done.

I am going Saturday to seal the deal and take another look at it and pick the brains of the PO.

The wife is on board with it and after I got up off the floor I was elated. :yikes: Wonders never cease! :missingtooth:

Yippy Ki-O-Ki-A !
