Just thought I would give everyone an advance viewing of the 2012 International Rally Long Rider trophy.

Well this is the first time I had to cancle a rally, but can't make the NY rally. We had a rough go the last couple months and finance's won't allow us to make the trip. I wan't to thank Big Tom for being so understanding and if you are still on the fence about going, go, I gaurantee you'll have a great time with the New York and Canadian folks. Boy, this really messed up my vacation plans, we were going to see several friends along the way and some family in NY. Also was going to try out the new passport and help some freinds, break in there new house in Canada. Oh well you guys have fun and be safe.

The venue for the pre-mixer and the banquet HAVE BEEN CHANGED...........The new venue is Chandersons steak and seafood restaurant rt.16 Yorkshire ny...This is located 3 miles South of Pioneer motorsports... the menu will remain the same with the exception that we will now have a soup added and salad bar.....rally goers must bring the dinner tickets and mixer tickets with them to this new venue....they are in your packet you will pick up at pioneer or we will have them at Chandersons for the mixer.. www.chandersons.com

THANK YOU.....Hummingbird made and donated the kubb games for the International rally. YOU are going to make two people really happy....All they have to do is beat everyone else to take them home with them......remember...get a partner...2 man teams..........sign up list at the rally....

To all coming tothe Int'l rally and bringing donations, PLEASE PLEASE pm me to let me know what you are bring so we can get a count and idea of what is coming. I need to make sure we have enough table space and tickets. The rally is getting closer and we need to get this all finalized. To anyone who may be interested there is a rally the 8th,9th,10th.It is a benefit that is held every year for raising money for children with maxifacial deformities so they can recieve corrective surgeries,(a very good cause).It is in Upland,Nebraska,small town of about 300 people.They have free camping in a nice city park for tent campers and also spaces for pull behind campers.It is an annual event which is growing every year.There are vendors selling everything from boots to leathers,patches etc.,live bands,street dances,beer garden,pork barbeque,silent auction,raffle,and a great poker run,bike games,etc. It is a really good time and family friendly so don't be afraid to bring your kids.We have attended the last three years and had a great time.So anyone who would like come on over.Also have church service on sunday morning and a bikers breakfast.

when we've got a long, fun ride coming up. Two years ago, when our local riding group was heading to Boise for a rally, she took the opportunity to demand a little extra attention. She started spitting fuel from the overflow. After a few attempts to fix the issue on the bike, I came time to install the spare set. I enjoyed the ride the put the original (rebuilt) set back on. All good! Time for another rally, this time in St. George where we can ride Zions Natl Park, North Rim of the Grand Canyon, etc. She's starting to insist on some extra attention..... new tires, front and rear, brake pads all around. Got the new tires on yesterday....nice ride improvement. Today I put in the new rear pads and then moved to the front (right) brakes. All was going well until one of the four pistons wouldn't press back in. I tried everything I could, clamps, water pump pliers.... lucky to have a spare caliper, so, I switched them out. Installed the new pads and bled the line. All is good. Time to go spend a week riding in just a couple of weeks.

Got a pm from jayceesfolly today, ticket sales for the International trailer raffle is falling far short of our expectations.....With only 400 tickets to sell ,he has not even sold 1/4 of them...We need to cover the cost of this trailer..please see the above sticky section and get your tickets now...also get those registration forms in if you plan on attending the rally this year...they are also found in the sticky section..........:fnd_(16):Only 4 months until the rally...YA HOO ! Please....If you are planning to attend the 2012 International rally sign up on the calendar page. This is very inportant...also if you plan on attending the pre mixer on Sunday evening..I don't want to squeeze 100 people in a venue capable of holding 35....

well folks, its time to start pushing my 1rst rally of the year. check it out under regional rides and rallies. i have listed the host motel and backup motel along with the dates in june 2012. i put on alot of great meets and this will be one not to miss.hope to see a bunch there. it is located in the middle of missouri, on i-70. see you there.

Trying to plan for some events this year along with a vacation and was just wondering if there will a Eureka Springs Hub rally this year and if so about what time of year will it be.

I am trying to incorporate the rally logo in my signature...when I do this ...the words sig pic shows up and not the picture...It will come up as an attachment though..What am I doing WRONG???

Hello Everyone: The 2011 riding season was the most active season for us thus far. Dispite almost losing our bike in fire in March, we still recovered and rode 7,000 miles. We have had so much fun this season! Cody Rally, Sturgis Rally, Saratoga WY ride, Hot Springs SD run. Ft. Collins CO ride. We are so thankful for the memories and friends that we made this year. What memories do you have??

I was just writing to DirtSquirt about his bike and asked him if and when he was going to be in Sturgis this coming year of 2012. I mentioned starting a new thread where we could post our dates to be in Sturgis so we can get together while we're there. I'd really like to meet some more of the VentureRider Brothers in person. Phoneman1981 & I met quite a few of the members in Cody last summer @ the International Rally. We are planning on being in Sturgis both weekends this coming summer. Let's get together next summer & have a Mini Rally in Sturgis. Any Ideas??????

OK folks, it is time for me to start rebuilding our Rally Countdown page with the dates for our 2012 events. Please take a look at the events listed at: http://www.venturerider.org/rally/ Let me know if you hosted an event and will do it again in 2012 and what the dates are if you have set them. At this time, I have dates for the International Rally, Marcarl's meet and I've almost set the date for my Maintenance Day. I need your input on all the others and also any new ones.
