  1. I can do that, and won't even sync the carbs either!
  2. Entertaining indeed.
  3. Ernie, Each year it expands, so look for minimum parking. I try to not park in the thick of things, so it is an easy getaway. You will find many vendors, many food places, bands, etc. the weather shows no rain, so the turn out should be big. You can find do dads, accessories, leather, shades, shirts, vests, patches, clothing, gadgets, LED lighting people, etc. Leesburg itself, has a few places to eat and bars to check out. I have been to about 6 of them. Alone and with female, and last year with VR member Steve. Never had any problems with people. Law enforcement out in sight. Lots of cool bikes and unusual people at times. Lots of HD, ultra classics.
  4. thoughts and prayers will be with him and you and your family:fingers-crossed-emo
  5. I am working this weekend, but will still most likely head up. I figure I'd get there closer to 4:30-5. stay a short bit and head back. I usually always go

    Surgery

    Good luck w that
  7. Not really weird, that's just PUC. I guess for me, not growing up like that, in fact it's quite opposite. In NYC, it's the concrete jungle. Always having 17 eyes open at all times, bc there is always waiting to catch ya napping....no pun intended. That too is a character flaw. Because I am much more stable and away from that scene, old habits are hard to die. I sure wish I can be more like some of y'all....but I'm trying
  8. Puc, First glance, has me thinking you're a homeless guy. I wouldn't be able to sleep soundly in a parking lot. Then again, after 900-1000 miles, I just might...
  9. Brad should get another recognition award for all his time helping others . Almost every time there is a crisis or emergency of some sort, I read or here he is right in the thick of it, trying to solve the issues at hand. Glad you're on this site Brad!
  10. :rotf:
  11. Congrats mike on the new home. now I have an excuse to ride to Vero.... and stay the night.
  12. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNIE!!!!!!!!!!! :australia:
  13. +1 no doubt
  14. Geez, I better start riding more, perhaps accept a job in Washington state and ride to and from. I only have 36xxx on the clock.
  15. I agree. And they have the best looking riders too
  16. I couldn't care less what transportation Buddy, Peg and the rest of you use to get to the events. It's the PEOPLE that make the site enjoyable. All this nonsense on what rides and on here for X years....just stop. For $1 a month you get unlimited advice, tips, service questions asked, family gatherings, humor, accessories, ideas, companionship and lasting friendship. Where can you get all of that for $1 per month????? Perhaps we shouldn't take the site for granted. If you don't contribute, then start! If you're starting a new chapter in life, SHARE. Everyone learns and feels grateful for some person, article or post from here at one point or another. For me, I wanna see. Buddy, Patti and the rest of the gang, regardless of ride, or other assorted reasons...
  17. We missed you Tom. Some of the times I am working on weekend events so I get it. That said...I would have chosen to spend more time with your dad. To me, you made the right call. My mom died last week 3 years ago. I would have gladly cancelled the meet and greet to spend time with her. Will see ya soon.
  18. +1. If only one....Cherohala for sure.
  19. Excellent voices. As usual, many people are too quick to prejudge on a visual. See how condescending Simon was, and the audience in the beginning? Afterwards, he tries to say the girl is holding him back and the audience is crying. Really? Great message overall. I'm just pointing out 1- how scripted Simon is 2- how society, here especially pre-decides your value and worth as a person based on looks. At 17, those kids will certainly improve. I'd like to hear them again on a recording.
  20. Eck, Unless I read your last post wrong, comes off as frustrating for you, Especially since you were nice enough to start this thread/idea. I can and would ride any day since I live in Florida. I can see where perhaps others can not with work and scheduling conflicts. Suggestion?... Why not make it a 72 hour remembrance? Meaning with time frames and various geographic locations, we have a 72 hour window. Then each rider can post the day/ date afterwards if they choose too.
  21. I'm not one for posters but one I would get is bullitt, with Steve McQueen. That fastback mustang is insane. Since I have been studying MMA and weapons for over a decade, I would put up my signed and framed magazine with Guro Dan Inosanto on it. He rarely signs personal items anymore.
  22. Eck, that's works. It doesn't really matter the day, does it? It's a remembrance ride for those we know and love. I look at it from this point, which is we can still ride. Those who we are riding for, can not. So if it is a. Monday, Wednesday, Arbor Day etc. I'm good with it. But please Eck, not Super Bowl Sunday, or bring your kid to work day
  23. I have a set of larger than OEM mirrors for anyone else who wishes to change them from OEM. The type is unknown. Came with bike. Not asking much, really. Just a few dollars for shipping. Be willing to swap for something. This is for those who can't, don't or won't want to spend more than they have to. PM me if interested. Barry
  24. I wouldn't mind a back up pair. Please PM your asking price.
