  2. [quote name= I did put my flag pole and VentureRider flag on it. [/quote] upgrading the HD with Yamaha:whistling: parts already?
  3. when you fill up don't forget to fill the aux tank.
  4. what a great video. wish I could have went. maybe next time.
  5. good idea to count the turns so you can get it close, will still need to re-sync
  6. Try the fuel cap. may be plugged. open the cap then close it and try again. vent holes do get plugged up.
  7. got pictures? we like to look at bikes.
  8. Easy to say the parts did not show up in time and had to ride the RSV. Second thoughts on a long trip with the new bike? trailer did not match so had to ride the RSV. If you don't ride the HD they will get crazy in the threads about why.
  9. I just adjusted my handle bars up an inch and really did not see why you could not use any 1" handle bars as long as the spread where the speedo sets between the bars are the same. did I miss something? not talking about the cables just the bars.
  10. Don't forget the Harley boots, it's getting deep in here.
  11. Member fee's will be raised starting in 2014. support for HD parts needed.
  12. No more long bike trips without trailering to undisclosed hotel to leave trailer. We know HD's can't do more than 200 miles without needing some kind of repair.
  13. Hate to say this but the thread is over a year old.
  14. do you have a picture? what did it cost?
  15. If your going bald in the middle lower the air a few #'s.
  16. just need a small garage at the bottom for the bike and a parking spot for the 4 wheeler.
  17. I don't think 8 feet is a crack. how wide?
  18. I'm seeing everything except bulk 22's.
  19. you have something in the caliper , since your going to change fluid anyway have someone pump the break and keep pressure on it and keep releasing the fluid. it should squirt out fast, when low take the bleeder out and hit one more time, put in the new bleeder and lines and bleed till full. If your not changing the pads I'd also take them out and push the cyclinders all the way back in to break any rust or dirt in the disk system.
  20. Should have read about this first then just do an even switch of rear ends with a venture rider looking for a v-max and both would have save money. yesterday on a 171 mile ride I got 47.08 mpg on my RSTD one up.
  21. Carbtune pro. got a special with the case for $107.00 to my door. Never used one before but they wanted $140.00 to sync my carbs and thought why not. total time 45 min. to do everything after receiving it. need to cut the hoses and a damper. You will need a long Philips screw driver to reach the 1&2 carbs sync screw. 10min to actually sync the carbs the first time.
  22. WoW. someone actually passed a law the makes sense
  23. lol, guess this is what happens when you do a search and don't look at the dates.
  24. Not to Hi-jack the other thread so the question. When you sync the carbs doe's the bike have to be straight up or is on the kick stand ok. I did put some wood under the kickstand to do mine but now I have two other chapter members wanting me to sync their bikes.
  25. you should be able to download your own music to it. Find all your CD's you want then find a kid to down load everything on the player. cheaper than paying .99 for each song.
