Not to Hi-jack the other thread so the question. When you sync the carbs doe's the bike have to be straight up or is on the kick stand ok. I did put some wood under the kickstand to do mine but now I have two other chapter members wanting me to sync their bikes.
you should be able to download your own music to it. Find all your CD's you want then find a kid to down load everything on the player. cheaper than paying .99 for each song.
Thanks for the info. Connected the carbtune to check the level and they were off. got out my trusty screw drivers and made the adjustments. Holy cr*p what a difference quicker and seems faster with more power, thought I was gonna pop a wheele in 2nd.lol
I also just got a carbtune a couple of days ago. got it put together tonight like the instructions said and may try it in the morning, not sure which screws too turn but I think I will be able to hook it up too see if their out of sync.
I have a 07 RSTD. No compressor. just have a electric only air horn I would like to try installing on the right side. so would I run the hot wire to a relay then the horn and just connect the switch ground wire to the horn button. I'm not great with wiring so simple really helps.
ok can I run a 12ga wire (house wiring) from the batt to the electric air horn Pos and the ground wire from the horn switch ? just looking at the wires I have around the house, I can go buy other wire if needed.
I have a 07 RSTD. would like to replace horn with a 139db electric air horn. question I have two horns on the bike so do I need to replace both horns to make them work? I tried changing one horn (by the right exhaust and it's not loud at all. the horn is very loud if I connect to a battery by it self but not on the bike.
That's the best, keep it charged during long down times. Find a lot of people wont spend $40.00 for a battery tender, Duh. they will be happy to buy bling for the bike.
