1. I cant remember my wreck in June but im sure it looked something like that just before the crash!
2. Take the bus. That's what we do when we leave out of New York
3. never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups
4. I agree. I met him in Roanoke VA many years ago and got the same vibe. After my chapter folded I droped star
5. Not trying to be a smarta$$ but dont put it on so hard. Just snug it up with your fingers. It wont come off on its own and I can almost always remove it with my hand.
6. Thanks for that. I haven't had a laugh like that in a long time.
7. Heres the bike you need.
8. A good back rest. I have also wasted tons of money on diffrent seats, memory foam/gel pads, sheep skin and the one that worked a miricle for me is the Air hawk cusion
9. Glad to hear you're on the recovery road. I am starting to think motorcycles are dangerous with all these mishaps. I feel your pain. I went down in a pothole layden corner on June 9th. 8 broken ribs, punctured lung, knocked out my 2 front teeth, broken clavicle, concussion, and a $28,000 helicopter ride to the hospital (yes that is twenty eight thousand) and the worst part was my 2005 RSTD was totaled (of course my first question upon regaining consciousness to my wife was "how's the bike" to her disapproval) Spent a week in the hospital and after getting home had a deposit down on a 2011 Venture a week later. (Again to the wife's disapproval.) She said the hit to the head didnt knock any sense in me.)I did learn the value of good riding gear as the helmet, jacket and gloves took most of the road rash for me and I did switch from a shorty to a full face. Wishing you a speedy recovery and a new bike. It can happen to any of us at any time. I also agree the older we get the less we bounce.
10. 2.2 million is a reduclous amount but a deal is a deal. If you agree on an amount and money exchanges hands its a done deal in my book. Reasonable damages should be paid.
