  1. He has three wheels takes him three times as long to get ready.
  2. In Pucs case that would probably be considered as "I know a Shortcut" ....
  3. Guess I will just have to accept that extra hug....No point in letting a good unused hug go to waste....
  4. Even for heart burn ----I always get real bad heart burn.
  5. Uh just how close is it:think:
  6. Its hard to say whether or not cops over reached IMHO, because in many cases law enforcement is handicapped by having to stay within the confines of the law (and of course they should) but unfortunately, whether it be outlaw bikers, street gangs or terrorists, they do not and only recognize the legal system when they want to use it to their advantage. It is sad that human beings who are supposed to be of a higher intelligence than animals often behave worse than animals. With regards to innocent's included in the arrests, sad as it may be, just how exactly are the cops supposed to determine the true outlaws from the none outlaws when so many bikers like to role play when out on their bikes. Being in the heat of the moment I cannot see were an officer has the luxury to single out the good from the bad, its not like you can just walk in and say " Ok will those of you who are innocent please step to the right and those of you who are guilty step to the left So we can arrest only those who should be arrested. I can remember while working as a bouncer in a bar in my 20's and getting into brawl were we outnumbered 3 to 1, were in the heat of the fight I had spun around and almost clocked one of my co-workers because things were happening so fast and your so overwhelmed that you become so desperate that your reactions become much faster than your thoughts. Its not like a video game were can you can hit the Pause button, something the general public and critics never seem to comprehend.
  7. You need to either move the stake around......Or give it a longer length of rope.
  8. UH did my wife post a question on here.... ...Your description sure sounds a lot like her
  9. Normally you can mix Brands of oils but by rights you should not mix multi grades. Not really sure why I just know that it was in one of the bulletins published at work by GM.
  10. And thats why its not wise to get involved with Carl ----I've heard He always says he'll call ----- but never does.
  11. Yammer only uses one side of his bike for his tent maybe he will let stretch a small tarp from the other side.
  12. Prayers sent for both may one rest in peace and may the other find peace
  13. I am sure there will be some coffee left but for those who like a bit of sugar in their coffee you best beat CARL to the sugar bowl or there will be none left. Oh and I will be leaving at 8:00-------I plan on tying a long rope to my keys so I do not loose them and spend 2 hours looking for them this time -----SOMETIMERS can be a real Itchy Bee at the most inconvenient times
  14. I sent Clearview an email to see if Venturerider's got a discount on their windshields. They responded very quickly which was very admirable but was a little disappointed with their response, specially since they are in our silver star venders list. see below.
  15. That really sucks Angel. Said a prayer for you and Hope you recover soon and completely.
  16. That is right Chris once I managed to get a GAG on Carl the rest of the day was a real pleasant ride. If you like, You can call my cell its in my Profile or PM me if you want to hook up with me in Burlington and we can ride from there to Casablanca. I plan on leaving the house at 8:00 am so I can have a coffee before Carl drinks it all. That goes for anyone else passing through Burlington on the way.
  17. Prayers and best wishes to you Brown Angel - Hope you recover quickly and soundly.
  18. Thats cause Canadian Skeeters have a milder and more sweeter diet. Close but thats the hard way ...... and quite frankly I am surprised you would do it that way. ....The better way is you take a hammer and knock the needle into a board and then you peel the skin back and off just you like you would a cat fish.
  19. Sorry to hear about your bad luck with the bike. Glad your brother in law is OK though.
  20. So what your saying is ....you still live in the 50's though the rest of the world has moved on.
  21. Unless the previous owner switched the wires so that the CB ant would now be on the right side which is something I would have done had I owned the bike. Why you say! Because generally field strenght reaches out further in the direction of the longest ground plane, that being diagonally from the back corner where antenna is mounted to front corner on the opposite side. Just saying. Now back to reality. NICE BIKE!!
  22. Your right it is .... Soooooo why don't you put the shovel down and show Don some sympathy. After all The last thing he wants to do on MD day is cut Lawn
  23. Sadly its the chance we all take to enjoy the past time we love. Glad your one of the lucky ones to still be here to talk about it. Heal well my friend.
  24. For all it takes and the added benefits derived, I would definitely pull out the carbs and do a full tear down and restoration. Specially if it was already running poorly before you parked it. I even replaced the needle and seats. Be careful when you remove the seats from the bowel that you do not bend the pins that support the floats (don't ask). Once done its like having a whole new bike. Check out this thread for the rig I set up to bench set the floats. It worked like a charm. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?86821-home-made-set-up-for-wet-setting-floats-on-the-bench
