  4. not sure asking your wife Marcarl would be in your best interest in this discussion,. If you need backup best ttry to get it from someone that has not met you yet.
  5. cut sugars, carbs and all pops from your menu. Eating just meat and vegetables is the way to go. The body needs sugar and will break down fat to get it.. By eating carbs and sugars you are supplying the body with surplus ready made sugar and so the fats go into storage instead of being broken down. A diet of meat and vegetables along with proper exercise, will also help curb snacking. Carbs and sugars encourage you to snack more. Avoid drinking fluids with your meal, this only dilutes the body's digestive juices. drink an hour before or an hour after your meals preferably just warm or hot water. AND CUT OUT THE DESSERTS. Last only eat enough to satisfy your hunger, don't stuff yourself. pushing aside the remainder of your meal and saving it to be used as leftovers for another time is very effective. Mixing up small batches of leftovers makes for interesting meals.
  6. Except they shouldn't be pissing around with the cell phone while driving a cage either. Lets face it the younger generation as a whole is more into parking their butts in chairs in front of artificial intelligent devices and letting virtual reality live their lives for them than to actually taste a piece of grass roots living. Fact in point when we got into a good old fashioned scrap win or loose you had the bruises to show for it. Now I hear guys talking about kicking somebody's butt only to discover it was never real it was virtual. Or listening to some guy that drives like a little old lady brag about his driving skills pulling drifts and 180's only to realize he was sitting in front of his computer the whole time or playing at super stunt driving on his cell phone at work instead of working. But then if you ask them I am the one from another planet.
  7. there are heavy gauge tarps designed and custom made for outbuildings and they are available with hemmed in steel cables or Rods and built in ratchet straps to anchor and tightly stretch the tarp over the building. I would go for white or some other light color to keep the heat down in the summer though.
  8. Could be that the virtual motorcycle is slowly replacing the real one. whens the last time you saw, kids in a tree, kids playing sstreet hocky, kids tramping through the forest on imaaginary african adventures, or building forts. Not to mention ratio between wage earnings and the cost of a new motorcycle plus, The redicules cost of insurance. Add to this the rising cost of living in general. Then too comes in the screwball drivers on the road that riders have to watch out for.
  9. That is true-------I have to admit -----compared to Marcarl who has years of practice and continues to hone his skills on a daily basis---------I know very little about chatting. ------
  10. Have you considered shrink wrapping the building. You see a lot of that on farms and industrial sites these days and the choices go right up to multi-laminated heavy gauge reinforced material. Also, unless I am mistaken one of Marcarl,s Sons builds green houses using plastic panels. He may kick in a few ideas as well.
  11. I agree. I believe when they say average they are including all wages including the billion dollar income class which would of course raise the average, instead of just averaging out the number of low to middle incomes. Its kind of when a company claims to have lost money when in fact they just simply don't meet their projected goal but in truth they still made tons of money.
  12. What you mean penalty box -----for what----
  13. Ohhhh boy here we go again And just in time for MD day.
  14. I remember them being used by a local taxi fleet back in the early 70's. seems to me they did not pan out well. Using the single ply industrial scratch your butt paper wasn't to bad and they would change them out weekly, but Charmin or other soft papers just dissolved and went through every where. I would strongly advise walking away from that idea.

  16. Ditto that. I don't think most of them have even so much as climbed a real tree. Oh how I miss the simpler way of life.
  17. Aw now you went and hurt my feelings I thought we had a lovely time UH Chatting that is
  18. As much as I am looking forward to it, it is going to be a maybe for me this year. A lot of stuff is up in the air this summer for me and though there is a good chance I will be going there is a good chance I may be forced to bail out.
  19. Sorry to hear about your luck and hope something comes up soon. Don,t just stick to what you know though. Good time to explore a career change in something else you may have thought about trying.
  20. Just to add to the backfiring list of items, if your exhaust is too free flowing such as an open pipe you can get back fire. If a float is sticking in a carb you can get back fire and engine miss.In this case the faulty carb often overflows during idle and you may see gas dripping on the ground. Same if an enrichment valve is stuck (often refered to as the choke). A malfunctioning carb can cause a misfire that can make you think its electrical and a bike that has sat for a long time without running can often result in carb issues. A coil that is working hit and miss can cause a cylinder misfire but gas still goes through the cylinder when the raw gas hits a enough exhaust temp in the exhaust pipe it can cause a backfire. A simple thing to check over is all the primary wiring for your ignition if the bike sees enough wet weather, you may need to open and clean all your connections. I once thought I needed to replace my ignition module but when I took it out and saw all the green I cleaned it, put it all back together and the bike has run like a dream Plugs are a cheap investment and try running the bike in total darkness to see if you can spot any arcing from the plug wires or boots. look while everyrthing is dry 1st than do it again whil spraying a mist of water all over the plug wires. Your handling issue sounds like tires, they may be out of balance or just sat for so long that they developed flat spots and with age the rubber gets harder and less able to return to its proper shape. Once you get the bugs out of it you will have one awsome bike.
  21. Jalapeno is tasty but the next 2-3 days they got me singing like Johnny Cash " and it burns burns burns that ring of fire that ring of fire "
  22. :yikes:
  23. We all look forward to riding, that's a given. But that includes meet and eats which means BBQ season as well. For those who want something more than hot dogs or plain hamburgers here is a Rolodex which is bound to get your digestive juices flowing. http://www.cheeseandburger.com/ or The you tube version with voice description
