I just went through the same thing and after 3 months on a Harley Ultra Classic I sold it and went back to the RSV. Initially it was great but just not a Venture, I would like to test ride a new Road Master but the cost is out of my price range.
It's usually a safe bet to stick with the OEM stuff, I will admit that there have been several mods that have not worked for me as well as others and I have went back to stock because it worked.
Still looking for a good buy, almost bought her a Can Am but one of the guys at church is the service manager at the local dealer and talked her out of it.
Well the Harley did not last long sold it yesterday, the guy was like a kid in a candy store. I put 3000 miles on it and it just did not live up to the Venture.
