    If you can wait to get to Madison before you camp. Clifty falls state park is a real nice camp ground. It's just on http://www.indianaoutfitters.com/Maps/state_park_maps/clifty5.gif the westside of Madison on St Rd 56. I hope i did this right!?

    This year was the longest I went without riding (Three weeks). That was only because I couldn't get it to the road due to the snow and ice. I rode several mornings when it was below 20 degrees. I have to say, you get alot of looks. when it's below 20 and your on a bike.

    That's what I ran and I have to say thier great! Rain,light snow,small patches of ice,corners. I put my Avons through everything and they kept me up right everytime I just changed my tires , I had 25,000 miles on the front( I ran it a little longer that I probably should have.) The guys at the bike shop I go to. talked me into trying Metzler tires this time. So far I like them , But I just don't trust them like I did the avon's. Time will tell!

    I ride pretty much year round. Most of the time I avoid riding when there might be ice. Hit a couple of patches saturday, made for an interesting ride. I've gone to work when it was 19 degrees (25 miles one way). for pleasure riding, i like it around 40 or 50. That way I have a better chance of finding someone to ride with me. The wife won't even look at the bike if it's below 70.

    I use a POWER TRIP jacket. It's the mesh type jacket with the armor in the shoulders,elbows,and spine. Can't think of the name right now. But it has the zip in rain liner and I use Firstgear rain pants. I been very pleased. I can stay dry even in a driving rain. The jacket was about $150. and the pants were $17.95.

    I'm looking for a better seat for my 1st gen venture. The stock one is fine for a few hours But after that my wife and i both start getting alittle uncomfortable. Does anyone know of a good replacement??
