  3. Yes but you just said it, Im haulin A$$ with my new butt butler!
  4. Yes Heated here and mine was the first GL1800 w/heated seats to be done..all is A-OK but its $60.00 instead of $40.00 but its a lot more work.
  5. I got mine back yesterday Jim and the initial thought is it is much better on the tailbone. BTW mine was the first GL1800 with heated seats that he has done and all is working A OK. Heated seats on the Wing are $60.00 not $40.00 as in standard seat.(Alot more trouble removing and reinstalling heating elements) Not complaining, just a FYI. I am Satisfied!
  6. Im as layed back as can be..I have a VERY dry sense of humor at times . Its all good,I just thought of the Coyote and it was fitting! BTW I had Rick Butler work my seat over and my Butt is very happy now!
  7. Thanks for the Info and also the lodging on the way up. The offer extends as well to you and yours if ever in my area. See ya on the 22nd of July!
  8. And away I go!!!!!! Gonna catch that woman!
  9. Deb and I will send our Prayers.
  10. Ive got my bike ready to go! We are heading to Custer SD first then Sunda AM we are heading on to Cody. For people that have never been to that area it is like no other.I have a cabin at the KOA that sleeps 4. If needed I can split it.
  11. BUT,Metallic Black with a lot of Chrome makes the bike slide thru the wind easier therefore faster due to aerodynamics and wind tunnel testing.......BTW my wife thinks Im full of BS...I wonder why?
  12. Im going to the Cody Rally in July.. Few times a year make at least a 1000 mile ride somewhere.

You are now My Friend....even though you have been for awhile..Just wondered who the heck was Gedimius or whatever..I thought it was a Star Wars character...But I recognized the Bike!
  14. The mini arms are the best for comfort..I have 31 inch inseam.
  15. Switchblade Highwaypegs w/Flip-Out Heel http://wingstuff.com/images/update.gif229.99229.99purchase Mini Arms for Ergo II Highway Footpegs http://wingstuff.com/images/update.gif53.9953.99purchase Heavy Duty Fork Springs http://wingstuff.com/images/update.gif84.9984.99purchase Handlebar Riser Shims http://wingstuff.com/images/update.gif27.9927.99purchase Add all Balls to steering and Part # 8008A from Kuryakyn, adjustable clevis pin for footpegs also. Ask Roadhand how all this combination feels and he is fairly long legged. He was smiling big time yesterday when we met up. IF you can get to Houston sometimes I have a friend that will install all of it,Bearings included and you supply the parts listed for $275.00. Believe it or not centramatics somehow make the bike even more stable(not that its not already,it just is something you REALLY feel) and no balancing the tires.
  16. Congratulations! It has taken me awhile but I have it as comfortable as my RSV was now and with a few aftermarket tweeks,to me, The perfect bike.
  17. Jim,I did it because I rode one with the Progressive springs and at only $75.00 for the pair I decided to put them in while the guy was putting in the "All Balls" steering head bearings. I never got the dreaded wobble from the head bearings but after I saw how cheap made they are I decided to put the better ones in and the guy that does it in Houston only charges $275.00 to put in the All Balls(parts included) and at the same time he will install the springs and riser shims for no extra charge. The ride is night and day different. Come check mine out whenever. ******I will have your adjustable clevis for the pegs week after next, they had one set so I got them.
  18. No appoinments necessary..I love spending other folks money!. BTW Herb the front progressive springs will make a night and day change and while you are at it put in some of the riser shims for the handlebars..the cheap ones on Wingstuff, like $25.00,thats what Ive got on and it lit up Roadhands face with excitement.
  19. Met up with Roadhand today and got to see his new GoldWing. I think he had a nice time but after our visit I think Im gonna call him "Cha-Ching" instead of Roadhand..He left with a long list of safety accessorries hes gonna buy. I think Im gonna have some stiff competition!!
  20. IF I don't go over 65-68, 42 MPG After that at 75-80 appx 38-39 over that 32-36. Pulling trailer at 65 around 40 UNLESS high winds and I have gotten as lowas 17MPG WITH A VERY STRONG HEADWIND AND RUNNING FAST. Ask Ponch about that!
  21. Yep change your ways..I go thru my gears at low rpms UNLESS Im in a hurry..when I go thru towns I never downshift unless I get to 22MPH or so then I will downshift, otherwise I just throttle on it and off I go...
  22. If you are in town meet me in Johnson City Tuesday. I'm going to a friends house who owns a Wing also He also has fresh farm eggs. Free! He a good guy and helpful.
  23. OK,I had my pegs perfect UNTIL I sat on another GL1800..Hum whats the difference in the foot pegs I wondered..same as mine, same style, same area on crash guards mounted...I had to ask was it the seat? The answer was Kurakyn part # 8008A adjustable peg end, male mount. It replaces the "Clevis" or part that angles up when folding the highway peg up,with an adjustable clevis. I just put them on and I am loving it! I kept wondering how all my friends that are anywhere from 6ft 2 inches up to 6ft 9 inches looked so comfortable riding the Wing, now I know, they ALL have this on their highway pegs! http://motorcyclestuffwarehouse.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=136_447&products_id=2966 I bought mine from Texas Cycle Chrome in Houston
  24. I like that bag,I got one and it is very convenient..Also just got in this week a cooler rack for the rear of the bike where the hitch is..I got the Aluminum Rivco Unit from WingStuff.
