    A white 88. Hey Freebird.... Haven't got to see it yet. Supposed to be in nice shape. Small skinned place on corner of right faring. We all know how easy it is to do that to a 1st Gen.

    Got another guy coming to look at it Sun. He said he had heard of the contractor I had and nothing but bad news. This one sounds good and is country boy but I dam sure will be checking closer.

    To make the building I have planned the block will have to sit on the outside edge of the footers. Not in the center. By the time I tie it into the pad it should be good but I'm not sure I like that.

    I found a White 88 1st Gen close to home. Can you hide a 1st Gen??

    I have a bit of work before slab can be poured. Footers are not square and proper size. I didn't follow him around with a tape measure but I should have. Had to be pretty close on size of pad and footers don't quite make it. Going to have to scratch my head a little on this one. I haven't done this type of work in 40 years.

    I'm thinking over the block. I can get 9 yrds per truck and would like to keep it close. 3 inches thick should be enough but I want to go 4. That puts me close to 9 yrds I think. Pad will be 18 x 40 ft. Have some extras I would like to do but they might have to wait.

    Most states have age requirements I think. Teach him Gear from the start and he don't have to learn.

    What is the standard mix for mortar? 3 sand 1 cement? I think. I could finish foundation but can't handle pouring 9 yrds.+ concrete.

    Got his answering machine this evening finally. Fired his butt. Got one of his workers to answer phone and passed message to him. Now to find someone that will work. He has made a mess. Think I'll be looking at Court.

    Thanks Rick. Hope her insurance treats him right. Thats what helmets do!! They seem to handle it a lot better than the head does. Heal quick Tom. That rash is a Bitc*!!!

    My 84 always ran high on the guage. As long as it stays out of the red I wouldn't worry. Lot of slow traffic mine would creep into the red but mostly stayed under the red line. Can't say the same for the Tach....
