Not that I want to start any debates or get this thread deleted, but that's EXACTLY what happens when we forget we should be celebrating the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Instead we have turned it into a selfish materialistic debacle and have shifted our attention from Jesus to ourselves. It never ceases to amaze me just how savage and downright violent people become just to save a buck! What totally amazes me is just how clueless they are to what they are doing and why. Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to the custom of exchanging gifts on Christmas, what I am saying is we have lost focus on the true meaning of the holiday (Holy + day = Holiday) and substituted our own godliness. We are trying to outdo each other as to how many gifts we can give, when the attention needs to be on what a great gift God has given us in Jesus. OK enough of my rant. We will now return to the thread...

Well, Lewis, this thread won't die, will it? No matter how hard we try we can't seem to get it deleted...

which GPS is the best now???
bongobobny replied to Ga Dawg's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
No, half asleep typo that I corrected. Hey the keys are hard to see! -
Whereas I'm ditching MY saddlebags in leu of the larger ones because we never used the "removable" feture. My particular conversion is a bit more complicated because I have the aftermarket Ventureline rear bumper assembly so I have to do some minor hacking to the bottom rear of the bags to get them to clear. Also, I may have to become creative with the turn signals as the bag mounted ones will have to go with the mod. Should be done with it next summer...

I have to agree, deep fried turkey is fantastic!! Just don't set your place on fire putting the bird into the hot oil! You might also like garbage can turkey, it too is an excellent way to prepare turkey...

Ditto to what Carl said, or swap out the front forks, then you can install the better calipers but you should also replace the master cylanders as they need more volume of oil...

What is this "Speed Limit" you speak of?? I generally go with the flow, or are 5 - 10 over cage or bike in rural areas. In towns or cities I'm pretty much legal eagle for a couple of reasons. First there is a lot more potential danger of other drivewrs being stupid, which they generaly are. Second is the term "Speed Trap" which you seem to have stumbled upon yourself...
