  1. Now in reality I can see when Becky and I can't mount the trike any more that will be the route we will take except I will probably look for a vintage Lotus...
  2. What?????????
  3. Convert it to a trike and then you won't have that problem...
  4. Yes all RSV's come with intercoms but not the headsets or cables. Front plug in should be on your tank left of the tank bib. The rear is also on left side but since mine has been triked for a couple of years I've forgotten just where the plug is. Mirrors, go to different suppliers such as Dennis Kirk, J. C. Whitney, etc. and pick out a pair that suits you. Just remember they have to be metric thread and reverse threads on the one side. For driving lights it's personal preference, Barry's suggestion is a good one. Suppliers, Yamaha Star accessories, Kuryakyn, Show Chrome, Diamond R (one of my favorites), Fleabay, etc... PS welcome aboard!!!
  5. Hmmm, can't see where the rear tire would have anything to do with the turn signals. Maybe the turn signal relay just coincidently decided to go...
  6. Yes they will but you will need to do some extra swapping to make it all work! Fairing frames and rear subframe are needed along with a few extras for the complete change. Some parts, such as the upper fairing etc bolt right on... Everything you nee should be on the '90 bike you buy
  7. Phil that sounds like a great idea!! That's been done before! Folks, Jim puts on one heck of a good party!! Make it if you can!!!
  8. I stayed at a Holiday Inn once...
  9. We're looking forward to it!!!!!
  10. Don't sign ANYTHING!! Get a written estimate for repairs, and have her insurance company contact their ins.co...
  11. Uhhhh, OK, what magazine does this issue have to be from???
  12. Bejeweled 3, lightning game... PS I needed a break from doing 45 degree cuts with the hardwood!
  13. Ya mean we can only call you if we have a problem???
  14. Actually, it came to light playing a video game!!! OK next thing to ponder! Why is it sometimes things we think will take forever are shorter than things we think will take a few minutes?!!?
  15. OK Wayne, here's another suggestion. Temporarily short out all 3 pins on the kickstand switch connector. Keep in mind that now the bike will start IN GEAR WITH THE CLUTCH OUT!!! Now with all caution see if the problem goes away. I have seen those switches develop just a wee amount of contact resistance and cause a similar problem, but usually causes the engine to die in gear when the clutch is let out. If that checks out OK next thing to look at is the kill switch. It too may have some contact resistance but I'm not sure the symptoms would be the same as yours. Third, and a very distinct problem is your vacuum pressure sensor could be bad! You can bench test this with a battery, voltmeter, and vacuum pump. as you apply vacuum the voltage should change on the output to the TCI. There is a detailed procedure in the service manual as to how to test this. Now,as far as the -10 and -11 it is the difference between the TCI for a 1200 and 1300 motor. The only difference is a slight variation in the advance curve for vacuum advance but is so insignificant you will never notice it except for maybe 0.001 sec difference in your ET on a quarter mile...
  16. Hehehehehehehehe!!!
  17. Hey! I like that idea!!!
  18. ...That in life when we have to make a decision, the best choice to make is always the other choice???
  19. Plan on replacing your plugs, the seafoam is known for loosening up so much crud it can eventually foul the plugs...
  20. As a first bike, SUICIDE MACHINE!!!
  21. Would have liked to have made that one but too much to do around here, and funds are low at the moment...
