  2. I hope this Harley site does better than the last one Don! Seriously!!!
  3. Meet Courtney! She is very loving and affectionate but a little meek. She is around 3 years old and a itty bitty kitty at 6 1/2 lbs. The house was too empty with Sonny gone. We think of him every day but needed someone else to love. In another week she is going to have a playmate as we are also adopting a 6 month old male tuxedo cat named Billy Boy, who is also very loving, but has an upper respiratory infection and is on antibiotics so we can't pick him up quite yet...
  4. Probably a dab of rubber cement around the edge would keep them flat. I'm following this thread, I'm interested...
  5. Hi Gary! Good to hear from you, we think of you often! Sorry for your loss of William but I'm sure he is safe and secure in the arms of Jesus. We will indeed pray for David, be proud of him! Not only to I pray for his safety but also when he returns home that he has little problems readjusting to life here after his service. All of us military and former military salute him!!
  6. You're right about it needing a lot of work!! I'm sure all the hydraulic fluid has turned to crystals and all the grease turned to glue! Just about any rubber will have rotted, and all "O" rings are now flat rings! Other than that it should be fine...
  7. Uhhhh, it goes vroom vroom when you twist the throttle...
  8. Awwww, you're all just a bunch of horny guys...
  9. It's a 6mm allen head bolt, not sure of the length but it is short, like maybe 15mm or 20mm...
  10. Just remember air horns need to be run off of a relay! There is no horn relay on a venture, but the horn wires work perfect for triggering the relay...
  11. Are you sure you don't mean the caps for allen head screws? 2nd gens have alen head screws, not phillips...
  12. Barry, for your warmer climate I'm surprised you were even using 10W30!!! Even up north here we use 40 or 45 which is what Yami suggests. Unless you want clutch problems do not use energy conserving oil of any type! We have what is known as a "wet" clutch and any oil with friction inhibitors is going to get on the clutch and cause it to slip and pretty much ruin the clutch and friction discs forever...
  13. Betcha the inside of your saddlebag is REALLY shiny now...
  14. Ya know, back in 2008 when Mother and us did the same run down to Asheville, by the time we got to the Dragon it seemed tame compared to some of the exit roads off the Blue Ridge we did!! Scott & Sherry even almost had a collision with a bear!! We all had a great time! The whole trip was great! Yes,we pealed a little metal off the floorboards on the Dragon too!! Glad you had a good time!!!
  15. That is a noise filtering capacitor, only needed for noise supression in the audio system...
  16. Yup! Fantastic time!! Jonesy I think you're on to something...
  17. Also, make sure you are not overfilling the reservoir! It should be about 1/2 to 3/4 up the site glass with the reservoir level...
  18. I noticed!! It's just that the green uniform reminded me of Mr. Forest Ranger...
  19. Thank you all for the kind comments, they mean a lot!!! We went to a local rescue shelter this afternoon to pet the kitties and one "found" us and we put a hold on her. In 2 weeks we will go back and if we feel the same we will bring her home! It is a lovely petite 2-3 yr old female pale calico that took to us and is very friendly! To all, yes, Sonny was family, our son!! We can never replace him but we can develop a new relationship with a new pet! And yes, it does hurt a lot, both of us have been crying for the last couple of days!! There will never be another Sonny, he was loved, spoiled, and will always be remembered!!
  20. We made the toughest decision of our lives today. Our beloved cat, Sonny was put to sleep this morning. He had a hyperthyroid condition and also kidney disease. He lost about 4 pounds in the last year, a lot for a cat who only 11 pounds to begin with. He was 18 years old. For the last few weeks he would hide under the bed all day, and stopped covering his litter in the litter box. He was not the same cat we loved all these years. We just buried him in the side yard. We will miss him very much. I never had a cat love me as much as he did, and he was a people kitty, even people that didn't like cats liked Sonny. Rest in peace our beloved pet.
  21. That was an outstanding job!!! Sometimes I wish I was young again...
  22. Oh Oh!!! Did someone forget their Anniversary again???
