  1. Yup! Sometimes it's just the right combination of swear words and beer, other times it practically falls into place. If it's ending up upside down each time, try doing the same thing only start with the slave backwards...

  11. Ah Ah... and then along came Jones, long faced Jones. Slow talkin' Jones, Slow walkin' Jones...
  12. Hehehehehehehehe!!!
  13. The Y adapter is the box that is mounted on the end of the CB. It has a square frame mount. Just follow the CB antenna jack from the CB back to a box that has 3 coax wires on it, one from the antenna, one to the CB, and one to the FM tuner...
  14. See what shipping is to the US, it might be cheaper to ship to a certain NY address and arrange for pickup from some friendly Canadian that might happen to be heading this way...
  15. No, not normal! Check with Hannigan for the proper torque. Member Dingy sells an adapter for tightening those nuts but make sure you mount the adapter at a 90 degree angle with the torque wrench or you will be applying more torque than what the wrench says. Yes, unfortunately oscillations are kind of normal with all trikes, and there is many different causes for it such as tire, road surface, shocks etc...
  16. Yes it is a resistor, it is stock. The other end goes to the probe that goes into the battery. From what I remember it is a low value. You want to connect one end of the yellow wire to a resistor with a value of somewhere between 1000 and 2000 ohms and the other end of the resistor goes to 12 volts. Do not connect the yellow line directly to 12 volts as that will burn out the circuitry for the warning light. The circuit is looking for a logic level of 5 volts. The 1000 ohm resistor acts as a voltage divider to give the yellow wire that voltage.
  17. Clean all the contacts to the CB and make sure they are all tight. I would suspect the real source is the "Y" adapter for the antenna has a dirty ground, especially the one that goes from the splitter to the radio. Make sure the splitter has a good clean ground as well...
  18. Now THERE'S an idea whose time has come!!! Don't forget to duck...
  19. Yes, that had to be Miles, and my prayers are to him!!! Something tells me he had better pay attention to the Holy Spirit, I think he is trying to tell him something...

  21. But Carl, you're retarded like me with nothing better to do...
  22. Remove upper fairings. Remove battery and battery box. Remove air box. Remove coil plugs and spark plug wires. 2 bolts on each side of coil pack. Unplug vacuum advance sensor wiring and vacuum line...
  23. Yup! Time to split the fairing and clean all the connectors for the audio system and install dielectric grease to keep the moisture out...
  24. Mmmmmm!! Ice cream! (Best Homer Simpson voice)
